Spotted: Essence Love Letters LE

Hi there!

Today I'd like to talk about Essence's current Love Letters LE.

This LE contains an eyeshadow palette, 2 eyeliner pencils, 2 jumbo lip pencils, 1 highlighting powder, 5 nail polishes, 1 stampy set, 1 set of powder papers and one diary. You can find an overview of all products here *click*.

The eyeshadow palette consists of all light shades but one, and they all appeared to be shimmery. I unfortunately wasn't able to try it at the store, there were not testers.

The eyeliner pencils each have the pencil on one end, and a little smudger on the other. That can be used to create smokey looks, which is rather nice. Colours are dark blue and silver.

The jumbo lip pencils are very shiny and sheer. They barely add any colour to your lips.

The highlighting powder looks very cute, it has some kind of saying on it. There was not strong shimmer going on with this one.

The nail polishes are all pastel shades but one, which is a dark grey. They are all very nice but not that extraordinary to be honest.

The stampy set contains an image plate that has some patterns themed around the topic of love, and also a scraper and a stamp. I didn't actually know that stamping was still huge in the nail art world, but I'm sure this is a lovely set of designs if you like to do it!

The powder papers are basically blotting papers, but they have a transparent powder added to them that you apply directly when blotting your face. Intrigued by the idea of this technique I bought one of these sets. Expect a review to be up soon, I'm rather curious how these work.
Last but not least, a little note book that Essence calls a diary. It looks cute.

After all, a cute little LE that definitely has a feeling of Valentine's Day and spring to it. I wasn't too interested in the products, but that could also be due to the fact that none of them were truly outstanding.
What do you think of this LE?

Spotted: Essence Kalinka Beauty LE

Hi guys!

Today I'd like to talk about Essence's other current LE, called Kalinka.

Kalinka contains 3 eyeshadows, 1 set of fake single lashes, 2 eyebrow pencils, 1 lip brush, 2 duo lip creams, 1 blush, 4 nail polishes, 2 hair mascaras and 1 beauty bag. You can find an overview of all products here *click*.

The eyeshadows are all shimmer, and of really pretty colours. They aren't that special but look pretty nonetheless.

The set of fake lashes contains individual lashes, which generally look more natural than whole fake lashes. These, however, come in a set of not only black but also two bright colours! Only something for more daring people.

The eyebrow pencils are one for lighter and one for darker hair types. They also have a little brush on the cap. I personally prefer to fill in my eyebrows with eyeshadow, however.

The lip brush looks fine, might be worth a try.

The duo lip creams are of very bright colours. For these you would need the above mentioned lip brush. One of the colours in each duo is matte, the other one shimmery.

The blush is of a peach colour with a nice shimmer, and it looks really gorgeous! I definitely was tempted to buy it but then decided I had enough peach shades.

The nail polishes are very cute and contain an interesting pearl shimmer.

The hair mascaras are something that I personally find rather useless, but I'm sure there are people who use these. You can basically add colourful accents to your hair with them.

And finally, the little beauty bag in the shade of a Matryoshka. Looks really cute.

After all, I quite liked looking at this LE, and I'm sure you'll be able to find something cute you might like. But there wasn't anything utterly exciting in it, at least not for me.
What do you think about it?

Spotted: Essence Ice Ice Baby LE

Hey everyone!

I recently saw this LE at the drugstore, and I thought I might share my thoughts on it. This is Essence's Ice Ice Baby LE.

This LE contains 3 eyeshadows, 3 eye pencils, 2 lip balms, 1 shimmer powder, 4 nail polishes, 1 hand lotion and 1 cable clip accessory. Here *click* you can see all of the products.

The eyeshadows are cool-toned and look shimmery. Unfortunately I wasn't able to test their pigmentation, sorry!

They eye pencils are of a metallic finish and come in three different colours. They were too much colour for my taste, don't really wear colours that much.

The lip balms look very cute and bright. I doubt, however, that they will have a real visible colour pay off.

The shimmer powder appears to be very frosty. It's of a white-ish silvery color and very shimmery.

The nail polishes are of cute colours that match the whole collection quite well. They are definitely interesting and not too common. The shimmer of them makes them interesting in my opinion!

The hand lotion looks nice and promises an deeply moisturizing effect. Couldn't really tell what it smelled like, though.

Last but not least, the cable clip. Might come in handy for people who need this kind of stuff, I don't really.

After all, this is a cute, winter-themed LE that makes a nice impression. I do like how all of the products work together, but there wasn't anything that sparked my interest.
What do you think of it?

Spotted: Essence Dark Romance LE

Hey everyone!

Today I'd like to talk about Essence's current LE, called Dark Romance.
This LE contains 2 eyeshadow quads, 2 eye pencils, 2 lipsticks, 2 lipglosses, 1 cream highlighter, 2 velvet mousse blushes, 4 nail polishes, 1 nail art decoration kit and 1 set of body tattoos.
All products can be seen here *click*.

The eyeshadow quads are are of nice colors, but unfornately there were no testers, so I can't tell you anything about the pigmentation. The colors did look rather pretty, though.

The two eye pencils contain a slight shimmer and are of one light and one dark color. On one end there's the color, and on the other a little smudger. That can be nice to create smokey looks, even though I prefer actual brushes.

The lipsticks are of a red and a darker berry color. They are both matte and looked as if they were very pigmented, just like those from last year's holiday collection.

There are also 2 lipglosses in this LE, one almost white-silver and the other one is of a greyish color. I'm sure they are rather sheer and just add a ton of glitter to your lips.

Then it also contains a cream highlighter, and that's the only product I bought from it. It's of a white-ish very pale color and contains a fine shimmer. That is actually very fine, so you don't glitter too much. It has a thick creamy consistency. A review will be up soon.
Then there are the two mousse blushers. They are of deep red colors, very intense. Unfortunately no testers here either.

The nail polishes are all of interesting finishes, nothing standard. I wish I could have had a look at them, but they had already sold out when I got the check out this LE. Bet they must've looked great!

The nail jewels are all pretty, and if you are into that kind of stuff I'm sure you'll be able to do great nail art designs with them.

Lastly, some body tattoos. Not exactly my style to be honest.

So, to sum it all up, this is a fun LE that is very ordered as all of the products match the others. It disappointed me a bit, though, as it's the December LE, but it's clearly not that Christmas-spirited. Oh well, still a nice little LE.
What did you think of it?

Spotted: Catrice Thrilling Me Softly LE

Hey everyone!
Today I'm going to share my thoughts about another current LE with you guys. This time it's Catrice's Thrilling Me Softly LE.

This LE contains 1 set of Lace Patch Eyeliners, 2 eyeshadow trios, 1 Cat Eyes Eyeliner Pen, 1 mascara, 3 lip stains, 2 blush sticks and 5 nail polishes.
The promo pics can be seen here *click*.

The Lace Patch Eyeliners are a set of eyeliners to stick onto your lid. They look very artful and actually a lot like they are paper lashes!
The eyeshadow trios contain both light and dark colors, matte and shimmery. Pigmentation seemed to be okay, but not utterly great.
The Cat Eyes Eyeliner Pen is a felt-tip eyeliner, but with a very thick tip. It is tapered, so I'm sure you might be able to do comparably small lines with it, but I guess it's mainly intended for a very bold line.
The mascara is called Better Than Fake Lashes, and promises volume, lenght and curl. It's also part of the permanent line.
The lip stains come in great colors, two very dark, one rather nude but still not too light. They appeared to be very very pigmented.
The blush sticks come in nice bright shades of red and pink, and they contain no shimmer. I was, however, very hestistant with them, remembering the very bad quality of one of their previous attempts at a blush stick. You can read about it here *click*.
Last but not least, the nail polishes. Really great shades, shimmers and cremes, match the collection perfectly. Everything from nude to dark.

After all, this is a very pretty LE that works very well with all of the colors and products it contains. I didn't really find anything to my liking, but I'm sure there are some products worth a try!
What do you think of it?

Spotted: Essence Be Loud LE

Hi guys!
Today I'd like to share my thoughts concerning Essence's current Be Loud LE.

This LE contains 3 eyeshadow duos, 1 jumbo eye pencil, 2 jumbo lip pencils, 2 blushes, 5 nail polishes, 1 nail art tool and 1 beauty bag.
All products can be seen here *click*.

The eyeshadow duos are all shimmery. They contain somewhat natural colors, all very wearable.
The jumbo eye pencil is of a greyish brownish shade, and said to be waterproof. I imagine it might be used best as a base underneath actual eyeshadows.
The jumbo lip pencils are actually called Jumbo Sheer Pencils. They are of bright colors, pink and coral, and are said to be rather sheer and shiny.
The blushes have a really fun military design on them, each consisting of 3 shades. One is rather warm-toned with peach shades, the other colder with pink shades. Both are slightly shimmery.
The nail polishes all seemed to be cremes, available in both bright and more muted colors. There is also a very bright and colorful glitter top coat among them.
The nail art tool is the same double-ended dotting tool they've had in their permanent line for quite some time already.
The beauty bag is rather cute, too, matching the theme of the LE.

After all, this is a nice little LE that is definitely worth a look. I didn't find anything I liked enough to buy, but maybe you did? Let me know!

xoxo, Misch

Spotted: Catrice Eve In Bloom LE

Hi guys!
Today I'd like to talk about Catrice's LE for September, called Eve In Bloom!

This LE contains 3 eyeshadow duos, 2 pencil eyeliners, 3 lip and cheek creams, 1 loose highlighting powder, 1 set of nail foils and 5 nail polishes.
All products can be seen here *click*.

The eyeshadow duos are all shimmery and of rather natural colors, not that light, though. I bet they can be used for nice looks, but they're nothing new.

The pencil liners come in an anthracite and a burgundy shade and are supposed to have a powdery finish.

The lip and cheek creams come in rather bold colors, without any shimmer whatsoever.

The loose highlighting powder is of a shimmery light pink shade. It's called moisturizing, not sure how a powder can be moisturizing?

The nail foils are of a rose print, matching for the LE's theme.

And last but not least, the nail polishes are either cremes or have a slight pearly shimmer, and their colors aren't that unique.

After all, this is a cute LE, but nothing really sparked my interest. What do you think of it?

Spotted: Essence Oktoberfest LE

Hey there!
Today I'd like to talk about Essence's new LE for September, the Oktoberfest LE!

This LE contains 1 set of paper lashes, 2 eyeshadow and lipgloss sets, 1 lip balm, 1 blush, 4 nail polishes, 1 set of nail art stickers, 1 mini purse and 2 bracelets.
All products can be seen here *click*.

The paper lashes are of a very cute and fun design, with hearts. If I were the type to wear these, I'd have gotten them, but they're just a little too much for me :D

The eyeshadow and liploss sets are very cute, with a nice Oktoberfest design and everything. One contains a pink and a purple eyeshadow as well as a light pink lipgloss, the other is blue and brown in terms of eyeshadow and with a red lipgloss. I have no idea how well they're pigmented, but they did look very cute.

The lip balm comes in a tiny pot, and it is of a shimmery light pink shade, almost white. Not so much my taste.

The blush is a very cute one as well. It's of a cool-toned light pink, and has a darker pink with shimmer in its heart. Love the design, so I bought it.
Pigmentation of the background shade is okay, but it doesn't give that much color. The darker pink, however, does, and mixed together I bet they'll make for a nice, not too strong shade.
It was 3,25 Euros and is called 01 Fesches Madl!

The 4 nail polishes are red, purple, pink and green. They all looked very nice and very appropriate for the theme, but there was nothing too extraordinary to them.

The nail art stickers also look very cute, unfortunately they were already gone at my drugstore.

The mini purse is just a tiny little bag, very cute to store just a couple of cosmetic products in it for on the go.

The bracelets are also a nice little extra, they look very cute with their pink or purple ribbons and the silver pretzel as a charm.

After all, I quite liked this LE! I love the Oktoberfest, already looking forward to it now, and the products are all very cute :)
How did you like it?

Spotted: Essence Tribal Summer LE

Hey there!
Today I'd like to talk about Essence's new LE for July, which arrived at my drugstore a bit early, really cool! It's called Tribal Summer.
This LE contains 4 pigments, 2 lipsticks, 1 liquid blush, 1 bronzing powder, oil control papers, 5 nail polishes, 1 set of tip painters and feathery hair extensions. All products can be seen here *click*.
The pigments are all very warm-toned, lots of red in them. That makes them rather hard to pull of in my opinion. There are some shimmery and some matte ones among them.
The lipsticks come in darker and vibrant colors, matte as far as I could tell. I didn't get the chance to try them, but they looked like they'd be very pigmented.
The liquid blush comes in a bright pink shade. Unfortunately no tester, so I didn't get it.
The bronzing powder comes in a fun design with zig-zag stripes, but it's very glittery, too much for me.
The oil control papers or also blotting papers are very useful in summer. Both Essence and Catrice also have some in their permanent line, and I still have some at home.
The nail polishes are all very fun in bright matching colors. I really liked them! I bought one of them, in the shade 05 Na-Rock. It's a warm rosewoody red pink shade, hard to describe. It's a creme and very very pigemented, the swatch shows 1 coat!
The tip painters come in nice useful colors, and I'm sure are a great thing for starters in terms of nail art. I already own similar stuff, so I didn't need them, but I do recommend you have a look at them if you like nail art!
And finally, feathery hair extensions. Not my taste.

After all, this is a cute LE, very red-toned and warm, but fun for summer.
How did you like it?

Spotted: Essence Me & My Ice Cream LE

Hey there!

My local drugstore is rather quick at the moment, quite surprisingly actually, but they already have Essence's Me & My Ice Cream LE! Really cool, so I've got something to show you :)
This LE contains 3 eyeshadows, 3 lip balms, 1 cream blush, 1 pot of shimmer pearls, 4 nail polishes, 1 set of nail stickers and hand wipes. You can see all products here *click*.

The eyeshadows are all baked ones, and in rather light neutral colors. They are all very shimmery and looked great for day-to-day looks and highlights on the eye.
The lip balms come in fun colors and have a very interesting marble look to them. Don't know how the colors look on the lips, however.
The cream blush actually looks like a baked blush, which is rather weird :D The color is a coralish pink with a nice shimmer. It seemed to be pigmented quite nicely, but not too much. A very pretty shade, but I didn't feel like I needed it.
The shimmer pearls strongly resemble those of Guerlain, the Meteorites. They are basically little shimmery pearls in light shades such as light green, light pink, light peach, and mixed together they have a white-ish color with a slight shimmer, great for highlighting. I'm looking forward to trying these! It's called 01 I-cy U and was 3,25 Euros.
The nail polishes are all very cute, I quite liked them! All pastel shades, with the tiniest hint of a silver pearly shimmer in each of them. I bought the light mint shade, called 02 Always In My Mint. I did 3 thin coats for the swatch, was a bit streaky at first. It was 1,75 Euros.
The nail stickers are very cute, they look like colorful sprinkles! But I didn't need them.
Last but not least, the hand wipes. Cute idea for on the go, but I always keep hand sanitizer with me, so I don't need them.

After all, I quite liked this LE! It looks fun, the theme is a very cute one and the products seem very nice :) Finally something I liked!
What do you think of it?

Spotted: Catrice Matchpoint LE

Hello there!
Today I'd like to talk about Catrice's current LE called Matchpoint!
This LE contains 3 baked eyeshadows, 1 eyeshadow base and highlighter, 1 mascara, 2 lip balm tints, 2 blush sticks, 4 nail polishes and 1 cosmetics bag. All products can be seen here *click*.
The baked eyeshadows are all very very shimmery, but also very pigmented. They looked nice, but weren't my colors.
The eyeshadow base and highlighter is a cream product in a shimmery champagne shade. Don't like colors like that as a base, though.
The mascara is a waterproof one, which also seems to be part of the permanent line.
The lip balm tints are basically shiny lipsticks in the shape of pencils, and they come in rather dark colors. They are a tiny bit sheer but do have a great color pay-off.
The blush sticks come in coordinating colors, they look very similar to the lip balm tints. Also quite pigmented.
The nail polishes look fun and match the rest of the LE, but there is nothing exciting to them.
The little cosmetics case is a bright blue one in a cube shape, quite cute.

This LE is nice and everything, but it just didn't wow me.
What do you think of it?
xoxo, Misch

Spotted: Essence Ticket To Paradise LE

Hey there!
Today I'd like to talk about Essence's current Ticket To Paradise LE.
It contains 3 cream eyeshadows, 3 lipglosses, 2 lipliners, 4 nail polishes, 1 shimmer powder and 2 hair mascaras. All products can be seen here *click*.

The cream eyeshadows come in very fun summer colors, and they are extremely glittery. Pigmentation didn't seem to be the best, though.
The lipglosses also come in fun shades, but they weren't so much my taste. Would have loved to test the blue one, but it had already sold out here.
The lipliners in pink and orange correspond with the lipgloss shades, really fun.
The nail polishes aren't that special, 3 cremes, 1 glitter. All summer shades.
The shimmer powder looks gorgeous, I love the print! It felt like it's a little too warm for me, however.
And the hair mascara. Purple and turquoise to put some color accents in your hair. Not my style.

After all, this is a fun little LE, and I'm sure you could find something you like. For me it wasn't that interesting.
What did you think?
xoxo, Misch

Spotted: Essence Girls On Tour LE

Hi everyone!
Today I'd like to talk about Essence's Girls On Tour LE which is out now.
It contains 1 eyeshadow palette, 1 lip & cheek creme, 4 nail polishes, 1 perfume, 1 pocket brush and 1 phone charm. All products can be seen here *click*.
The palette is rather small and consists of 6 shimmery girly shades. I do think they'd be very wearable, but I'm not so much a fan of these pastel-y shades.
The lip & cheek creme comes in a vibrant coral orange shade. Very pretty, but quite bold! I bet you'd have to be careful about overblushing!
The nail polishes all come in cute creme shades, matching the eyeshadows. They are nothing special.
The fragrance looks cute and is supposed to smell floraly, fruity and sweet. Didn't try it.
The pocket brush is something I've owned for years already, and it really is useful!
Last but not least, the phone charm. Cute.

After all, this is a nice little LE, but I feel like it's made more for the younger buyers. It's just not that exciting for me!
What do you think of it?
xoxo, Misch

Spotted: Catrice Glamazona LE

Hey there!
Today I'd like to talk about Catrice's current Glamazona LE!
This LE contains 4 eyeshadows, 2 Lip Colour Pens, 1 Liquid Gold Topper, 2 blushes and 5 nail polishes. Pictures can be found here *click*.
The eyeshadows are all shimmery as far as I could tell. They are very pretty, with 2 colorful and 2 natural shades. I already own similar colors, that's why I didn't get any of them.
The Lip Colour Pens are lipsticks in the shape of thick pencils. The colors they come in are red and pink, both very bright. They are very pigmented and shiny. Too bold for me :D
The Liquid Gold Topper seems to be interesting for some more artful make-up looks, so I left it there.
The blushes come in just as bright shades as the lipsticks. They are both matte, and again a little too bold for my rather fair skin tone.
4 of the nail polishes are creme colors, in nice bright shades that work well with the rest of the collection. Nothing new, however. The last nail polish is crackling top coat, which is supposed to create a croco pattern on your nails. Not so much a fan of this crackling stuff.

After all, this LE is quite nice and looks good, and if you're into color, this is definitely something for you!
What do you think of it?
xoxo, Misch

Spotted: Catrice Hip Trip LE

Hey there!
Today I'd like to talk about Catrice's current Hip Trip LE!
This LE contains 1 eyeshadow palette, 3 lipsticks, 1 bronzing powder, 1 Satin Blush, 5 nail polishes and 1 passport cover. All products can be seen here *click*.
The eyeshadow palette contains 6 relatively colorful shades, very nice for summer. Unfortunately I wasn't able to try it, so I have no idea about pigmentation.
The lipsticks are all very sheer and shiny. They looked nice.
The bronzing powder is said to be hydrating, and I have no idea how that's supposed to work! Unfortunately no testers available.
The so-called Satin Blush is a liquid one in a tube, looked nice but I didn't need it.
The nail polishes come in fun colors that match those of the eyeshadow palette, but there is nothing unique to them.
The passport cover is a cute idea, and they bright pink is quite nice, but I didn't need it either.

After all, this didn't wow me at all. How did you like it?
xoxo, Misch

Spotted: Essence Guerilla Gardening LE

Hi there!
Today I'd like to share my thoughts on Essence's new Guerilla Gardening LE!
This LE contains 3 eyeshadows, 2 eyebrow mascaras, 2 lip creams, 2 cream to powder blushes, 4 nail polishes, 2 nail effect powders, 1 nail art brush and a set of hair ties.
Here *click* you can find an overview of the whole collection.
The three eyeshadows are light green, light grey and dark brown. They seemed to be rather matte. Due to the lack of testers I unfortunately have no idea about their pigmentation.
The eyebrow mascaras are basically tinted eyebrow gels. They have one for blondes and one for brunettes.
The lip creams come in very bright shades, a hot cool-toned pink and a very warm orangeish red. They have a strong vanilla scent and are very pigmented. Same as with the Catrice Geometrix Lip Creams, I don't really dare to wear such bold shades!
The cream to powder blushes are in coordinating shades with the Lip Creams. Again, too bold for me.
The nail polishes come in medium green, light green, bright red and hot pink. They are all cremes and nothing special, but I still bought two of them.
The first one is called 01 I'm The Moss, and it's a mossy medium green creme. 2 coats here.
The other one is called 04 Floral Glam, and it's the hot red. It has jelly qualities and an orange touch to it. 2 coats as well, very squishy.
The nail effect powders are flocking powders in the shades green and hot pink. They're like tiny little bits of fluff to be used on your nails for a textured look. I decided to try one, and got 01 I'm The Moss.
The nail art brush is some kind of fan brush, also helpful for the flocking powder. I already own Kiko's version of this one.
The hair ties are fun but not my style.

After all, this is a fun and very bright and bold LE! I liked a few things, how about you?
xoxo, Misch

Spotted: Catrice Geometrix LE

Hey there!
Yesterday I saw Catrice's new Geometrix LE at my local drugstore, so this is what I have to talk about today!
This LE is all about prints and colors, and it contains 1 eyeshadow palette, 1 mascara, 1 matte lip creams, 1 kit of blush papers, 1 translucent mattifying powder, 1 kabuki brush and 4 nail polishes. All promo pics can be seen here *click*.
The eyeshadow palette consists of six shades. The darker ones seemed to be quite well-pigmented, the lighter ones, however, not so much. All shades are shimmery and chalky.
The mascara is a volumizing waterproof one, but as far as I know also part of the permanent line.
The matte lip creams come in the shades of orange and red. Both have sweet but nice scent and a very light formula. They are extremely pigmented! I would have loved to try one of these, but I'd never wear such bold shades, so I left them there.
The blush papers are basically like blotting papers but with a tint to them. These are pink with a very strong silver shimmer. Too much for my taste, and I fear they won't pay off that much color.
The translucent mattifying powder looked nice, it's of a very light color that isn't visible on skin. Since I needed a new powder anyway, I decided to give this one a try. A review will follow!
The kabuki brush comes in a handy little reusable container and looked very soft. I have enough kabukis, so I didn't get it, but I heard good things about this one.
Last but not least, the nail polishes. They're all creme shades, blue, orange, yellow and red. Nice basic shades, but nothing I don't already own.

After all, this is a cute and colorful LE, and fans of bold looks will surely love it!
What do you think of this one?
xoxo, Misch

Spotted: Catrice Candy Shock LE

Hey there!
Today I'd like to show you Catrice's latest LE, called Candy Shock.
This LE contains 4 baked eyeshadows, 2 lip balm sticks, 1 lip peeling, 1 blush, 1 highlighter, 4 nail polishes and 2 Nail Sugar Pearls. All products can be seen here *click*.
The eyeshadows are all light colors, and all with a shimmer. They seemed to be quite well pigmented, but they also felt like they are fall-out prone, rather chalky that is.
The lipbalm sticks are lipsticks that are surrounded by a lip balm. The colors were very light.
The lip peeling is a little stick, which you are supposed to use to exfoliate your lips. I don't know how it actually works, but I also don't need it.
The blush is a gorgeous marbled pink one, looks great. When I tried it, however, it was too dry and chalky for my liking.
The highlighter is another beautiful product, so pretty to look at! This one, however, isn't exactly my favorite shade of highlighter, so I left it at the store.
The nail polishes are all of very light pastel shades, nothing unique that I don't already have in my collection in a similar version.
Last but not least, the so-called Nail Sugar Pearls. They're just tiny little beads to put onto your nail polish, just like Ciate did them, or a lot of other brands by now actually. They come in a ivory and a pink shade. I decided to try the ivory ones, called C01 Cotton Candy. They were 2,95 Euros. Hope I'll be able to try them soon!
After all, this is a cute and light LE. It works very well, it's just not that interesting to me.
What do you think of it?
xoxo, Misch

Spotted: Essence Sun Kissed LE

Hey there!
Today I'd like to talk about Essence's current LE, called Sun Kissed. Even though we only have March, this is a summer LE.
It contains 3 cream eyeshadows, 2 waterproof eye pencils, 2 lipsticks, 2 cheek tints, 1 shimmer powder, 4 nail polishes, 1 shimmer spray and self-tanning wipes. All promo pics can be seen here *click*.
The cream eyeshadows are all shimmery and come in the shades golden, bright blue, and a brownish cranberry. They're all pretty, and pigmentation seemed to be good. I just feared I wouldn't use them often enough, so I left them at the store.
The waterproof eye pencils come in the shades blue and orange, surely fun, but not my shades.
The lipsticks are a deep wine and a bright orange, and they're supposed to be semi-sheer. Didn't like the colors too much.
The cheek tints are very dark shades, and very red-toned. I tried them at the store, and a tiny bit tinted my skin already so much, I was seriously scared! So I didn't get them, although the shades are pretty, because with my light skin tone I fear it would be hard to pull off.
The shimmer powder looks good, but for me the main golden part was too shimmery.
The nail polishes are all fun shades which work great with the colors of the other products, but they weren't all that interesting to me.
The shimmer spray and the self-tanning wipes are products I wouldn't try, can't tell you anything about them.

After all, this is a nice LE with a great theme. I enjoyed looking at it, but I didn't feel the need to own anything. And isn't it a little early for a summer LE?
What do you think of it?
xoxo, Misch

Spotted: Essence Oz The Great And Powerful LE

Hey everyone!
Today I have Essence's new LE to share with you, called Oz The Great And Powerful, for which they teamed up with Disney. This LE comes just in time for the movie launch of Oz The Great And Powerful, which I'm looking forward to!
This LE contains 3 eyeshadows, 2 pencil eyeliners, 2 lip balms, 1 blush, 1 highlighting powder, 5 nail polishes and 1 necklace. All products can be seen here *click*.
The eyeshadows come in the shades torquoise, light blue and coral, and they're all very shimmery. Pigmentation seemed to be great!
The pencil eyeliners are green and purple, great for summer and spring looks for sure!
The lip balms are supposed to change color when applied to your lips, in the packaging they look red and pink. Don't think they're very pigmented. They have a very sweet scent, similar to the one of the Hugs & Kisses LE Lip Scrub.
The blush is called cream blush, but it's actually a liquid blush in a bottle with a pump dispenser. It's a coral shade and contains golden shimmer particles. At first I really liked it, but it isn't really that pigmented and the shimmer particles are quite big, so I left it at the store.
The highlighting powder is just gorgeous. Not necessarily because of the color, but because of the print. On it's own it's a light tan shade with a tiny bit of a shimmer, nothing extraordinary. The writing on it, however, is stunning, that's why I bought it. It was super hard to get myself to swatch it! Sorry you can't tell so much with the swatch, but it's a pretty good match for my skin tone. I'd rather recommend this one for a bit darker skin tones. It's called 01 Oz The Great And Powderful (don't you just love that?!) and was 3,25 Euros.
The nail polishes are all crackle nail polishes, which is why I didn't get any. Shades are great for people who like to experiment with them :)
Last  but not least, the necklace. It's a green jewel on a black ribbon. Not my style.

After all, I think this is quite a cute LE, matching for Oz. It didn't fully convince me, but it was nice to look at.
What do you think of it?
