BornPrettyStore Haul

A little package arrived in the mail today, from BornPrettyStore! And its contents is what I'll be showing you now.
I want to mention already now that these products were sent to me free of charge for review, which makes this a sponsored post. This does, however, in no way affect the opinion presented on here. You can read more about that in my Disclaimer policy you'll find on top of this page!

Shipping from their store was simple, but took quite some time. That's of course only normal within the distance from Singapore to Germany!

The first thing I got are these lovely nail art brushes. They come in a set of three, and have different lenghts, The bristles are rather thin and long, which is great for drawing delicate lines! They also come with plastic caps which protects the bristles from damage. You can find them here on the website.

Second, I received a Nail Art Striping Tape. Mine is a shimmery red, really pretty and great for nail art designs. You can stick the stripes onto your nails and leave them there, you can use it as a tape to create different looks with nail polish! Lots of different ways of use therefore. You can find it here on the site.

And finally, I got these 2mm Rhinestones, also used for nail art. They're of a fun plum colour, and rather tiny, which makes them great to be incorporated into designs. Can't wait to use them! Find them here on the website.

In this post I just wanted to introduce you to the things I got, because that makes it easier for me to show them in future posts! So you can expect some nail art coming up!

Little Kiko Haul

Hi guys!

I don't know why, but whenever I'm in Italy, I feel the need to check out Kiko. Maybe that's because in Italy I am able to find Kiko stores more frequently than here in southern Bavaria. But even so, there really is no difference between German and Italian Kiko products. I nevertheless went to Kiko during my recent Italy trip, and bought three lovely products.

Kiko Eyeshadow 132

Kiko's eyeshadow in the shade 132 is a warm chocolate brown. It has a golden shimmer that makes it look a tiny bit metallic, but it is rather small and not crumbly. The shade isn't too dark and I bet very versatile, to be used in lots of different looks that is, from natural to dramatic.
Pigmentation is really good but not too much, and it can definitely be built up.
In Italy Kiko eyeshadows were on sale for 2,95 Euros, normally they are 4,90 Euros.

Kiko Fierce Spirit LE Glow Touch Lips & Cheeks 01 Bitter Margarita

Kiko's Fierce Spirit LE from earlier on this year was on sale, too, and I bought one of their Glow Touch Lips & Cheeks products in the shade 01 Bitter Margarita. It's a little pot with a cream product in it, which can be used as both blush and lip balm.
The color is a coral pink shade, without any shimmer or glitter. Its scent is very sweet and smells like vanilla, I love that. It is very similar to Astor's Lip Color Butter in 011 Feeling Feline in terms of both shade and scent, I can do a comparison if you wish!
It's not over-pigmented, but it does have a really nice color pay-off.
On sale it was 2,95 Euros.

Kiko Nail Polish 377

Last but not least I bought one of Kiko's nail polishes, in the shade 377. It is a light pink with lilac tones to it. Rather cool-toned and of a creme finish. Opaque with 2 coats, nice squishy formula. I really like it! In reality it's way more lilac than in the pictures!
Kiko nail polishes normally retail for 4,90 Euros, but right now they are all on sale for 1,50 Euros, at least in Italy and Germany.

That's it for the cosmetics stuff I bought in Italy. A very little haul, but I really look forward to trying these products :)

Haul from Italy!

Hey there!
After showing you some pictures of my vacation yesterday, I'd like to continue with talking about my shopping today! I didn't go too crazy, but there was one thing I'd been looking forward so much, and that was Sephora. Here in Germany we don't have it, so I've never been to one before, but I took the opportunity and went to the one in Riccione. Was a great store, pretty much empty so I could do my looking around taking lots of time.
I was gonna get myself a couple of small items, but I ended up buying something bigger and way more exciting: Urban Decay's Naked 2 Palette! I love it, it's absolutely gorgeous and I can't wait to try it! Swatches will follow in a separate post as it's a lot of colors.

At Sephora I also purchased a mini bottle of their Triple Action Cleansing Water, a make-up remover for your whole face.

Last but not least, one of Sephora's mini Eau de Toilettes. It's a mini spray of fragrance, and I got the Cotton Flower one. Love the sweet scent!

Then, I went to Kiko.
I bought one of their nail polishes, in the shade 245. It's a gorgeous deep purple shade with a fine, multi-colored shimmer in it, mainly looking red. It's beautiful, but unfortunately my camera wouldn't pick it up in the swatch, which is 2 coats.

Also, some of their lip liners were on sale, the Smart Lip Pencils. I decided to go bold and bought a bright orange red shade, called 705. It contains a tiny bit of a shimmer. Very pigmented.

Last but not least, another nail polish. I bought the travel size issue of Elle Italy, and it came with a nail polish from an Italian brand called Deborah Milano. The shade I got is 55 Blue Lagoon.  2 coats in the swatch, it's a slightly teal-toned navy blue.

I really like what I got, and can't wait to try it all out :)

OPI and Zoya Haul!

Hey everyone!
Today I'd like to show you the lastest additions to my nail polish stash! I recently ordered 3 new OPIs and 1 Zoya, which finally arrived :)

OPI - My Paprika Is Hotter Than Yours

My Paprika Is Hotter Than Yours is part of OPI's Spring 2013 Collection called Euro Centrale. 

It is a very gorgeous shade of coral red orange. Very bright and saturated. In the bottle you can tell a tiny hint of a pearl to it, but most of the time it looks like a creme. 2 coats shown here.

OPI - I Theodora You

I Theodora You is part of OPI's Spring 2013 Oz The Great And Powerful Soft Shades Collection.

It is a sheer light pink, rather cool-toned and milky. It is very squishy and has jelly qualities. It looked best with 3 coats.

OPI - Jinx

Jinx is part of OPI's Bond Girls Liquid Sand Collection for Spring/Summer 2013. 

The color itself here is a orange coral shade with golden glitter. This one dries to OPI's rather new Liquid Sand finish, meaning the glitter dries matte and leaves you with a gritty sugar-like texture on your nails. I absolutely love this one, it's so stunning, and I bet also with top coat! 2 coats here.

Zoya - Zuza

Zuza was part of Zoya's Surf Collection of Summer 2012.

It is a turquoise color with a metallic-foil shimmer, that is very strong. It's a very summery type of color!
Coats shown here are 2.

So, this concludes my little haul! I'm super happy with all of the shades and can't wait to wear them :)
