Book-Blogging #4: Sophie Kinsella - Remember Me?

Hi there!
This is the next Book-Blogging Post I did for you :) The book's called "Remember Me?" (the German title is "Kennen wir uns nicht?") and it's written by Sophie Kinsella who also wrote the Shopaholic series.

I read it for the first time last week, and I wanted to talk about it. It's basically a cute little pleasure-read story that I liked a lot. I'm a huge fan of Sophie Kinsella books, because they're so fun, cute and nice for in-between.
The story it about Lexi Smart, who spends a nice night out with her friends and then falls onto her head and is knocked out. When she wakes up, she notices that's she's in hospital because of a car accident. 3 years have passed, and she experienced a lot during that time, but she basically can't remember anything. Lexi's now married, makes a lot of money and became somewhat of a bitch. She has no idea how all of that happened, and she can't even find herself and her own personality in the person she now apparently is. She tries to remember everything and to deal with her "new" life.
Now, SPOILER ALERT!!!
First of, her husband: I knew from the beginning that he wasn't her true match, he never seemed to really understand her or to care about her. He was actually kinda weird...;)
Then, Jon, at first I didn't believe they were having an affair...I first thought he was just kidding, but then after a while it was totally clear that he really cared about her. Kinda sweet...
Lexi's sister, Amy, was a really weird person. In beginning so sweet and innocent, and then later such a bad person. That kinda surprised me.
Lexi herself was kinda cool, because she was so confused by how she had been in the past 3 years that she can't remember, but still funny :)
SPOILER ALERT OVER!!
The book was not only good because it's funny, but also because it keeps you to the story. Even though it's pretty much an easy read, it's still a page-turner. I found myself wondering about how the story goes on, I was pretty much locked to it. You really want to find out what happened in the past, why she became such a person, and since that's not really told in the beginning or mid part, you really will go on and finish it.

Did anyone of you read it, too?
xoxo, Misch
