Hey guys!
Today I want to show you Coconut Kiss by China Glaze. It was originally part of the Summer 2006 Fiji Fling Collection.

Coconut Kiss is a purple with a metallic shimmer that looks a little frosty in the bottle. The purple doesn't really lean blue, nor does it obviously lean red, it's just a purple. The metallic shimmer glows in the sunlight while it's rather subtle in the shade.
Application was nice, the formula was thin and easy to work with. At first it was a bit patchy, but that's something you can handle easily. I ended up using 3 coats for these pictures to get it fully opaque. The metallic shimmer was a little brush-strokey at first, but that evened out nicely.
I really like this polish, it's super pretty and also not a polish all brands make. At first I was a little scared it would be frosty, but it really isn't! It's a great polish :)What do you think of it?

Nice Color :)
ReplyDeleteI think it looks great on you. I'm a little puzzled over the name though... purple coconuts? :D
ReplyDeleteThank you! Haha, I was at first, too, it doesn't seem to make sense ;)
DeleteIt looks similar to the swatches I've seen of Heavy Metallilac from Catrice.
ReplyDeleteYou're so right! I didn't think of it beforeI read your comment, but then I looked at pictures of the Catrice polish and they do seem somewhat similar! :)
DeleteIt looks very pretty, I like it :-)
