Spotted: Manhattan Limited Lotus Edition

Hey everyone,
I just lately saw the new Manhattan Nail Polish Collection, called Limited Lotus Edition, and I thought you might wanna hear about it ;)
I'm gonna tell you some details and show you the 2 polishes I got and my first impressions about them. Here we go:
This LE contains 20 polishes, and surprisingly, they have names! Normally Manhattan nail polishes always just have numbers from a system, but these ones have actual names, and pretty creative ones at that! All of the polishes are in one big counter thing that is separated from the normal counter. Hope you see what I'm trying to explain ;)
All of the polishes contain 11 ml and were 2,95 Euros each. They're available for a limited time at most drugstores and the official launch date was the 16th of May, but they were already spotted earlier. At my local drugstore most of the polishes were sold out in the first few days, because the colors are all bright and fun for summer, and there are shades from every color family. So you'd better get your favs soon! Here *click* can you find an overview of the polishes.
Now onto the polishes:
I got 2 ones, a blue one called 04 Do You Twitter? and a light grey called 16 Gossip Girl.
The blue polish is a really pretty creme polish, a mid-toned sky blue.
The name really fits because it's really like the Twitter blue, but I don't know if it's a 100% match. But it's pretty nonetheless. I didn't wear it on my nails yet, but on my nail wheel it was almost opaque with one coat, and the second one totally perfected it. It's so pretty for summer and I love this happy color :) It also dries all shiny.
The light grey polish is - in my opinion - like a dove grey, with a slight pearl shimmer that does barely translate onto the nail wheel.
The color was also pretty opaque with the first coat on the nail wheel, but it definitely needed a second. But after that, you're good to go! This one dries shiny, too. It immediately reminded me of China Glaze Pelican Grey *click* , but I don't own it, so I can't tell you whether it's dupe, sorry.
can you tell the pearl? :)
So, after all you can definitely say that these polishes are all pretty and worth a try! So check them out, you won't regret it :)
I'll see you guys soon!

Review: Isana Body Lotion Vitamin & Yoghurt

Hi guys :)
Today I have a new review about a body lotion by Isana called Vitamin & Yoghurt.
I'm doing it in the short version, so here you go:

Information:
- is available at Rossmann
- costs 1.29 Euros for 400 ml
- is made for normal skin
- contains vitamin E and shea butter
- has a fruity sweet scent

Positives:
- the price
- the light fruity summery scent that isn't overpowering at all
- soakes in really quickly
- has a light texture that is surprisingly creamy
- moisturizes my skin well enough
Negatives:
- the scent doesn't stay too long
from left to right: right out of the tube - slightly blended - totally blended (notice the creamy look!) - totally absorbed, after 2 minutes
I really really like this body lotion, the scent's cool for the summer :)
Does anyone use it, too?
I'll see you soon!
xoxo, Misch

My Eyeshadow Collection: Lights

Hey guys!
This is the second try to post this entry, the other one was deleted on Friday and never showed up again.
While there's still the last part of my lipgloss collection remaining unposted, it has to wait some time. I have this one first, the first part of my eyeshadow collection. It's my lights :)

Rival de Loop - 01 Snowflake

This eyeshadow is a frost white one with a lot of silver shimmer. It's best to highlight certain areas on your lid.

Essence - 21 Girls Talk

This one's been discontinued for quite some already, so you can't get it anymore. It's a light shade with the tiniest hint of pink in it, and it's very shimmery. It's not really pigmented, though.

Catrice Nude Sensation LE - C01 Nude Cream
This eyeshadow is from an old LE, and it's the perfect nude cream (just as the name says) color. It's perfect for my skin tone as a subtle highlight, and it's really opaque. It's a matte, and it can look a little chalky if you layer it too much.
Swatches:
This was the first part of my eyeshadow collection! I hope you liked it :)

ARRRGGHH!!!! :/ Part 3

Well guys, another quick update: the Essence NOTD post is back up, but the comments on it aren't, and the one that was supposed to be published today neither. I don't have high hopes that this one will still get up, but at least we have the nail polish post up for now ;)

NOTD May 12th: Essence 05 BBC Golden Sands

Hey guys!
I already showed you an overview of the new Essence Sun Club Bondi Beach Collection here *click*, and yesterday I posted the review for the gel eyeliner from that collection *click*.
Today I'm gonna show you the gorgeousness of the polish called 05 BBC Golden Sands. It's a shimmery bronze copper color with little flakies. It's just brown (or bronze) enough not to call it gold, and therefore it's a perfect summer shade! It also glows in the sunlight :)
I applied three thin coats here, but it was actually almost opaque with the second coat, I just added a third one to perfect it :) The brush strokes that were visible like crazy on the nail wheel didn't appear at all on my nails, so no streakiness here! It also lasted two days without chipping, so that's fine :) I don't wear polishes a lot longer anyway, because I like to change colors ;)
these pics were all taken in the sun
I took a million pics to show you the utter beauty of this polish. There are close-ups and pics in the sun and everything. To show you most of the photos but not having to edit all of them and not having to upload every single one, I combined them to collages. Hope you don't mind! :)
Do you like this polish? I'm really smitten, it's gorgeous!

ARRRGGHH!!!! :/ Part 2

I just found this:
http://buzz.blogger.com/2011/05/blogger-is-back.html
I hope that it's true and that deleted posts and comments will be back up.
Cross your fingers for me, cause otherwise I'll have to write these posts again for you ;)

ARRRGGHH!!!! :/

Hey everyone,
I'm sorry that there's nothing new up, but Blogger's really weird! I posted a post yesterday, and I scheduled one in for today. But the one from yesterday, that was already published, and the one scheduled for today, got both deleted! I don't know why they got deleted, or maybe the scheduling thing didn't work out, but I'm really furious right now!! I want to know what is wrong with that, but I can't find anything anywhere!
And even worse, both blog posts are gone now! It takes quite some time to type a full blog post, and now two of them are gone and I'll have to write them again!
Was anyone of you able to read one of the blog posts from yesterday and today?? One was an Essence NOTD, on which I already had some comments, and the other one that was supposed to be up today was a part of my eyeshadow collection.
I hope I'll be able to fix this problem somehow, but I don't think I'll get the posts back. I just don't want you to think that I'm not blogging, because I most certainly am, Blogger is the problem :P :/
If anyone knows what is wrong with my blog or the posting, please tell me! And if this post get deleted, too, then email me to mischsbeautyblog@googlemail.com :) Thanks :)
I'll see you (hopefully) soon :)
xoxo, Misch
