Review: Maybelline Fit Me Concealer 10

Hi there!
Today I'd like to review a product I've been trying recently, Maybelline's Fit Me Concealer! Here you go:
Information:
  • Maybelline Fit Me Concealer
  • shade 10, lightest one available
  • contains 6,8 ml
  • costs 5,50 Euros
  • has a sponge tip applicator
  • mainly intended to be used for concealing under-eye circles
Positives:
  • price is fine
  • nice variety of shades, also very light ones as this here
  • nice light formula
  • easy to apply little dots around the eyes with the applicator
  • easy to blend
  • covers up nicely, but not too much
  • looks very natural
Negatives:
  • can enhance dry areas
  • looks unnatural if not blended enough
  • doesn't cover darker areas too well
Here's how I'd like to show you the amount of coverage it gives:
There's this little mole I have on my arm, on which I then dabbed the concealer.
After blending that in just roughly, it looks like this:
So after all, I'm quite content with this concealer! It works great for the dark circles underneath my eyes, and that's what I bought it for. It's not the best thing I've ever tried, but it works fine for its purpose.
Has anyone of you tried this concealer?

Review: Catrice Camouflage Cream 01 Ivory

Hey there!
Today I'd like to review a product I've been trying for a couple of weeks now, Catrice's new Camouflage Cream. Here you go:
Information:
  • Catrice Camouflage Cream
  • part of Catrice's permanent line since Spring 2013
  • this is the lightest shade, 01 Ivory
  • contains 3g
  • costs 2,95 Euros
  • promises full coverage
Positives:
  • price
  • nice light shade available, matching for my skin tone
  • easy to apply with fingers or brush
  • creamy consistency
  • really provides full coverage
Negatives:
  • can look cake-y
  • accentuates dry areas
  • it caused me some break-outs
After all, this is a great camouflage cream, it covers everything up really greatly. My problem was that I used it for a couple of days on a bad area of my face, with a couple of pimples, and it only made everything worse. That does make sense, obviously, because with such high coverage it'll definitely clog your pores. So I gotta say, I only recommend it for a sparse use!
Has anyone of you tried it?

Best of Beauty 2011: My Top 10 Favs

Hey there!
The year is coming to an end, and I think it is time to talk about some favorites of 2011! Last year I already did this here *click*, and this year I'm already doing it before New Year's. My favorites for the month of December are gonna follow in the new year.
I'm now gonna show you my 10 favorite products of 2011, at least the ones I can remember ;) I'll try and only mention products that also got released in 2011, but I'm not sure whether that's gonna work ;) Let's get started! By the way: these are in no particular order!

Astor HD Mattitude Foundation - This is the best foundation ever for me! I discovered this in the beginning of 2011 and haven't used a different one ever since! Here *click* I reviewed it.
Essence Studio Nails Better Than Gel Nails Top Sealer - I'm so in love with this top coat! It dries fast, it smooths every bubble, it's awesome! Here's the review *click*.
Catrice Floralista LE Duo Blush in As Lively As Ever - Here we have a blush that was part of an early spring LE, and I've been using it all the time. It was my go-to blush all spring, summer and fall long, and I still like it a lot! Swatches can be seen here *click*.
Benefit Finding Mr. Bright Kit - These were my first Benefit products, and I really like them! Super great kit for starters, and great for a natural and glowy look :) Here *click* I reviewed it back in spring.
Essence Sun Club LE Gel Eyeliner in BBC All Night Brown - Another LE product, a great eyeliner. The dark brown with the subtle shimmer is great for a lot of looks, the texture is soft and it still didn't dry up! I used just this a lot of times! Here *click* are more pictures and a review.
Nivea Happy Time Shower Gel - I like this shower cream so much and bought it quite a few times this year! It's so moisturizing that you don't have to use body lotion and the scent is great :) Review: *click*.
Isana Vitamin&Yogurt Body Lotion - Another body care product, a nice body lotion. It has a fun scent, is super easy to apply and doesn't leave a greasy film. *Click* for the review.
Alterra Caring Lipstick in Coral - This lipstick is super nice, it has a great consistency and I used it a lot of times when I wanted some color but still not too much. Yes, there's also a review link: *click*.
Essence Stampy Polish in White - Now this is not technically something that was released in 2011, and I also owned this in 2010 already, but with all of the nail art I've been doing in 2011 I needed this all the time. I think this is my most bought polish! :D
And I seriously don't have a picture of this! :O Here *click* is just a Google Image one.
p2 Profi Time!High Definition Concealer - This really was my go-to concealer, I used it every day ever since I bought it in June or something, and I'm still not out of my first tube! It's great. Here *click* is the review on it.
Well, these were the favorites for 2011 I could think of! What were yours? I'd love to know!
See you later,
xoxo, Misch

Collective Use-It-Up! #3

Hey everyone,
I have another collective Use-It-Up post for you! This time there are more actual make-up products in it, yay :D
That's what I used up:

Astor HD Mattitude Foundation - This is my favorite foundation of the moment, and I already bought a new bottle of this one. It's great!

Maybelline Dream Mousse Concealer - This used to be my all-time favorite concealer. It has the perfect coverage and consistency, and I loved it! But apparently it got discontinued, because I can't find it anywhere near me :( So now I'm using a different concealer, the one from p2 that I showed you here *click*.

Maybelline Colossal Volum' Express Mascara - Here we have my favorite volume mascara, it's a really good one! But right now I have a different mascara to wear, so I will only buy a new bottle of this one when I use up my current one.

Essence Nail Art Sealing Top Coat - I've already used several bottles of this one, but now I've got a new top coat that I love even more, so this one won't get repurchased so far. It's a good one, however.

MaxFactor False Lash Effect Mascara - This mascara is the only one that's really waterproof on me, and it has a nice black color. But I don't need a waterproof mascara on a daily basis, and so this one won't be bought again.

Rival de Loop Yound Diamond Wish Mascara - Another mascara, yes! It was limited edition, and it was nice, but nothing I have to have. So this was probably my last bottle of it, unless they might repromote it.

I'm proud to say that I used up that many mascaras, because you can't keep them too long. Mascaras are always products that go to waste soon, because they can cause eye infections when you keep them open for too long.
Did you use up anything in the past couple of days?
See ya,
xoxo, Misch

Review: p2 Profi Time! High Definition Concealer in 010 Beige

Hey everyone,
today I have a review about a product I already mentioned in my June Favs: the p2 Profi Time! High Definition Concealer in 010 Beige. Let's see how I liked it!
Information:

  • costs 2,95 Euros for 10 ml of product
  • available at DM and Budni
  • is available in 2 colors, and this one is the darker shade, 010 beige
  • promises high coverage, to stay 16h and to be smudge- and waterproof
Positives:
  • price is okay
  • this darker shade adapts to my lighter skin perfectly and is a good match
  • medium coverage: good for dark circles and blemishes
  • stays all day long, even though I didn't try the full 16 hours, it definitely lasts an entire school day
  • is smudge-proof
  • the applicator is okay to get the product onto you hand and then with the finger onto the face
  • it seems like it has slight light-reflecting pigments in it
  • has a nice consistency: not too dry, and also not liquid
  • you only need a really tiny amount
  • it's easy to get out the right amount of product that you need
Negatives:
  • availability
  • only 2 different shades available: you have to be lucky to find a matching one
  • the applicator isn't really good for applying it directly onto your face
  • is not waterproof like it promises
  • doesn't have really high coverage as it promises, to me it's only medium
without anything on
with just a little bit of the concealer on
The applicator is a plastic thingy, and when you squeeze the bottle, a little amount comes out. I prefer to get a little amount on the back of my clean hand, and then apply it to my face with my ring finger. That way it's really easy.

I really like this concealer, it's enough for my skin, and it's easy to apply and use.
The shade looked really dark when I put it on my palm, but when you blend it in, it's lighter and adapts to the skin better. The other shade, 020 ivory, is a little lighter in my opinion, so that might be something for me when it's winter and I'm a little paler.
directly out of the tube
blended out
So if you find a matching shade, I really recommend getting this concealer, it's a good one!
Does anyone own it, too?
I'll see you soon!
xoxo, Misch

Review: Benefit Finding Mr. Bright

Hey there!
Today I finally have the review for the Benefit Finding Mr. Bright Kit. I already showed you some sneak-peek pics here *click*, and now I had enough time to try out all of these things and finally review them!
Let's get started, shall we?!

Benefit Girl Meets Pearl
Girl Meets Pearl is a pink fluid with a fine golden shimmer. It can be applied as a slight highlighter or all over the face. It illuminates the areas where you apply it and the slight shimmer kinda seems to make them look more even. The bottle in the kit contains 7.5 ml/0.25 fl oz. Benefit calls it a liquid pearl for the face, and that's true. The finish is a subtle glow, really pretty, and would match pretty much every skintone. It's pretty longlasting, but fades during the day, of course. It gives you a fresh and dewy appearance, too.
I think this might be my favorite product from the kit, and I don't think it gets the attention it deserves. All of the products in this kit are really well-known, but this one is the least popular...maybe a little underestimated?

Benefit PosieTint

PosieTint is pretty well-known, it's a Cheek and lip stain. To me, the formula is creamy while being liquid, and it's pretty pigmented. Benefit calls it a poppy pink color, but I'd rather say it's a bubble gum pink, but in a soft way. It's supposed to be tear-, weather- and water-proof, and that's true! When you apply it to your cheeks, you'd rather blend it out before it dries, or otherwise you'll end up with pink, hard-to-remove stripes on your cheeks :) The color's not really my kinda lipcolor, so I didn't wear it there, it was barely visible on my naturally dark lips. The bottle in the kit contains 4 ml/0.13 fl oz. The color lasts on my cheeks pretty long, almost all day.

Benefit HighBeam

HighBeam is a very very well-known and popular highlighting product, a liqiud one. It's a cool off-white color with a lot of shimmer in it which works for pretty much all skintones. It contains 2.5 ml/0.08 fl oz in the kit and has a little brush to apply it. It's perfect to highlight the basic spots on your face and it makes them glow nicely. It lasts pretty long, but kinda fades a little after a whilte. It makes you look really fresh and natural, because the shimmer particles aren't too big.
here you can see the difference between HighBeam (1) and Girl Meets Pearl (2)

Benefit ErasePaste in Medium

ErasePaste is a very very creamy and opaque concealer. The color in the Kit is medium which is luckily light enough for my skin. The color's a little peachy, not a true skin-tone color, so it's perfect for bluish undereye circles. There it's pretty opaque and covers most of the dark cirkles. You only need a tiny bit because it's so creamy. The only thing I don't really like is that the creaminess makes it sticky. It has a weird feeling when you touch your eye when you have it on, a little gross. It's also not totally matte, which can be good because it doesn't enhance wrinkles. I'd almost say it has some light-reflecting particles in it, but I'm not sure about it. It contains 3.2 g/0.11 oz. and is pretty longlasting.

I hope this review helped you out! I do recommend this stuff, and the kit is a nice chance to try out all of these things in mini sizes. These "sample" sizes will go a long way, so this might be even better to get for some people. If you like the stuff, get the kit :) But if ErasePaste in medium is too dark for you, it's not totally worth getting it.
What do you think?
xoxo, Misch

Haul & Sneak Peek: Benefit Finding Mr. Bright

OMGHHKP (did anyone of you see that video by JuicyStar07 *click*?!) I'm so excited! I just found a box in the mail by Douglas :) I ordered it a while back and it's finally there, the Benefit Finding Mr. Bright kit!
These are my first Benefit products ever, and this kit was just perfect for me, plus, it contains 4 smaller sizes of very well-known Benefit products! The kit contains Erase-Paste in Medium, Girl Meets Pearl, HighBeam and PosieTint. The kit was 29 Euros at Douglas.de, and with the Promo Code 155DEDM you'll get 5 Euros off your order, so it's only 24 Euros. What a great deal, huh?! You don't even have to pay shipping costs within Germany, because the kit normally costs more than 25 Euros :) Really cool! I;'m so excited to try out all of these products, and I'll review them for sure! I just wanted to give you a little sneak-peek ahead of time :)
Did you already try out any of these things? Or are you planning on getting the kit? Let me know!
xoxo, Misch
