With August already being over, it is time to show you my favourites from the past month!
MAC Patina
This is such a beautiful eyeshadow! It's of a medium brown shade, not too warm, and it's finish is a frost, which makes for a nice shimmer. I loved using this for all kinds of daily looks! Here you can see swatches of it.
Catrice Hollywood's Fabulous 40ties LE Blush
One of my all time favourite blushes. It's matte, which makes it wearable with any kind of look, and the nice rosewood pink colour is also great! Here's a review on it.
Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow No Pressure!
This cream eyeshadow is my new true love. It's just so versatile! You can wear it at any kind of opacity you like, make it neutral or dramatic, and it's super simple and quick to apply. Here are more detailed pictures of it.
Catrice Beautifying Lip Smoother
A new product by Catrice, and one that can be used all the time. Its shine makes for a great look, but it's natural enough to be worn during day. It's also very caring and tastes great! Check out a review on it.
MAC MSF Soft & Gentle
This is one of the prettiest products I've even owned! Soft&Gentle is so beautiful, makes for the perfect highlight and is easy to apply. Can't get enough of its gorgeousness! Here you can see some swatches.
The Body Show Eyelash Curler
This has always been my eyelash curler, but this month especially I've been noticing what a great job it does! Really makes a difference with my lashes, I love it!
Yves Rocher Aquarelles Végétales Perfume
I'd completely forgotten about how much I used to love this perfume, and was so glad to discover my bottle was still smelling great and had enough left of it! Also reminds of a couple of summers ago when I used to wear it all the time.
Please let me know about your favourites of the month of August! Leave me a link to your post or just a comment telling me about it!
xoxo, M

Previews: Winter Collections!
Hey there!
It's the beginning of November, and that means preview time! Aaaaaaaand: It's winter/holiday collection time! And I just love love love looking at promo pics and the stuff for holiday collections! Even if I'll never be able to afford all of this stuff, I just love looking at it! And I'm looking forward to Christmas anyway :D
Now, Essence is releasing a LE called Circus Circus this December, and the LE contains a lot of golds and colors that work with both the Circus and the Christmas theme :) I'm actually really looking forward to this LE, it's made really great, and especially the double-ended nail polishes look awesome! Here *click* are some promo pics. What is weird, though, is that there's no other LE. Essence normally always releases 2 LEs a month, and this time there's just one, as far as we know at least. I think it could be because there's also the Hand Lotion LE still available, but I don't know if that's right.
For Catrice, I haven't found a single preview. Last month I already showed you the Welcome To Las Vegas LE *click*, but I didn't think that was it! Maybe there's gonna be a surprise?
Since I was already clicking through Pinkmelon.de, I found some more Holiday Collections, and I had to share the links :D I know that Pinkmelon links might not be the best, since not all of you speak German, but you can have a look at the pictures, right?! :D There are also some other links, btw. So we have:
IsaDora Holiday Red Rush Collection: *click*
Yves Rocher Luminelle Noel Collection: *click*
Yves Rocher Fruits de Noel and Fleurs de Noel Collections: *click*
The Body Shop Smoke & Sparkle Collection: *click*
Bobbi Brown Holiday Collection: *click*
Swiss O Par Christmas Hair Care: *click*
MAC Glitter and Ice Collection: *click*
Don't we just love Christmas Collections? Like I said, I already enjoy just looking at promo pics so much :D
Do you have any favorite Christmas Collections this year?
Btw: Unfortunately I haven't been able to spot the latest LEs yet. My local drugstore seems to be a bit late in the past couple of months, and also the other drugstores near me didn't get any stuff yet. So sorry I can't post about them, I'd love to!
Until next time,
xoxo, Misch

Use-It-Up #4
Hey everyone,
today I want to show you finally finally a new part of my Use-It-Up Series! I'm so glad I managed to use up some stuff again, even if it's not that much.
Here's what I used up in the past time:
Florena Bio Olive Oil Hand Lotion - I like this hand lotion a lot, especially for the cold time. Here *click* I reviewed it.
Nivea Happy Time Shower Cream - Another thing I like a lot, like I already expressed in my review *click*.
Isana Vitamin&Yogurt Body Lotion - This body lotion is great, here I reviewed it *click*. But I think it's too thin for the colder season.
Synergen Anti Pimple Gel - My skin has turned a bit worse lately, maybe because of the stress with school starting and stuff. So I used it quite often.
Essence Better Than Gel Nails Top Sealer - You guys know this is my favorite top coat, like I said in this review *click*. Already repurchased it.
Yves Rocher Baume Nourrissant Lip Balm - This is a really great lip balm, but right now I'm using a different one.
Alverde Hair Tip Fluid - I already repurchased this many times, but I'm not so sure if I will anymore, because it doesn't have that much of a great effect. It's good, but not extraordinary.
Unfortunately I didn't use up any decorative cosmetics, but I guess this is better than nothing. And maybe next time ;)
Did you use up anything recently?
I'll see you soon!
xoxo, Misch

Products I Regret Buying
Hi guys!
I was asked by marox to tell you guys about the products I regret buying. Hope you'll like it :)
I don't have a lot of products I regret buying, because most of the time I read reviews ahead of time and think about the stuff at the store. But there are still a few things I could have saved my money on. Here they are:
Yves Rocher Mild Eye Make-Up Remover *click*: I have no idea whether it was just my eyes or I got a bad bottle, but it smeared, had a horrible scent and didn't even remove regular mascara. A huge fail for me, and paying the full 5 Euros for it really wasn't worth it. Maybe you guys like it, but for me it did not work.
Essence 2in1 Kajal in You&Me: This just does not give any color on my eyes. It's pretty on any swatch, but on my eye I never get an opaque and pretty result. That's really a pity!
Essence Nail Art Cracking Top Coat in Crack me! white: I thought I wanted a white crackling polish, and bought this one. Unfortunately this one barely cracks, there are just a few tiny cracks in it! And I also don't like the effect...
Essence Multi Color Blush in How Cute Is That?: From my review *click* almost a year ago you can tell this is not really the best blush ever. It lacks pigmentation and that way I don't use it.
Catrice Papagena LE Blush Stick in Tigerlilly: You probably knew this would be mentioned here, because I already told you I didn't like it in the review *click* about it. No pigmentation, and melts too easily.
Yves Rocher Sebo Spécific Cleasing Cream *click*: I already once had the cleansing gel from this series and was content with it, and a friend recommended this one. But I just can't stand the scent, and the exfoliation is way too strong for me.
Alverde Gel Eyeliner in Black: Even though I had read this on several blogs, I didn't really pay attention to it. Everyone said it would dry out so so soon. But I still got it and experienced the same. Too bad :/
I believe that's it for this time. I'm sorry I can't show you pictures of all of the things, but I already threw away some of this stuff. With things like the make-up remover I even emptied them!
What you need to remember is that what is a purchase fail for me, can be an excellent product for you. So if you like any of these products, remember that these are on my list, not yours. And I'd like to read about your purchase fails anyway, so leave me some links in the comments :)
Do you like or not like any of the mentioned products?
See ya!
xoxo, Misch

My Pencil Liner Collection Part #2: more colorful shades
Hey there!
This is the second part of my pencil liner collection, and it will show you my more colorful shades. Here *click* you can see my other post about the first half of my collection. When you see them, you'll notice that I seem to like certain colors ;) Here you go:1 Yves Rocher Luminelle Crayon Khol in bleu pacifique - This liner has a bright, vibrant summer blue color. Unfortunately it's a little on the hard side.
2 Essence Crazy About Color LE in Addicted to Blue - I like this metallic shimmery bright blue, and it's also soft!
3 Manhattan Khol Kajal Eyeliner in 710N - this deep navy blue is really creamy and pretty!
4 Essence Secrets Of The Past LE in ?? - here we have a petrol blue color that also has a sponge smudger at the other end.
5 Manhattan X-treme Last Eyeliner in 87T - this jade colored eyeliner has small shimmer particles and really lasts long, like the name promises.
6 Essence Crazy About Color LE in Crazy About Green - this is a light green eyeliner with a metallic shimmer. It's really soft.
7 Essence's 2in1 eyeliner in You &Me - Here's the darker side of this double-ended eyeliner. I love the dark green with the shimmer, but unfortunately it's so hard that I don't get the color onto my eye.
8 Essence's 2in1 eyeliner in You & Me - This is the lighter side of it, a creamy milky light green. With it I have the same problem as with the other side of it.
Swatches:
The swatches are done without a base in the shade.
I hope you liked this part of my collection! For colors apparently I really only like blues and greens...I'm not kidding, I don't have any other pencil liners! What colors do you prefer?
See ya!
xoxo, Misch

My Lipgloss Collection #3: Pinks and Purples
Hey there!
I am gonna show you here the last part of my lipgloss collection, my pinks and purples, basically the cool-toned shades.
Essence Blossoms etc. Le Lipgloss - 01 Flowerkissed
I already showed you this lipgloss here, in a review *click*. It's a cool-toned pink with a slight slight shimmer.
Essence Sun Club LE Bronzing Lipbalm - 01 It's sunny honey
This lipgloss has two sides: a berry pink one and a bronze one. It's very shimmery and sticky and has a sweet scent.
Essence Glossy Lipbalm 05 Berry Sorbet
This is a tube gloss, a berry shimmery pink. It has a yummy candy taste, but it doesn't last too long.
NYX Round Lipgloss 14 Queen of Africa
This is a crazy purple color with a blue shimmer. It has this typical NYX soap taste and you can layer it so it doesn't look too crazy. I already showed you this one in this LOTD post *click*.
Manhattan Water Flash Lipgloss 46D
I really love this bright, vibrant pink color for summer. It has the best light moisturizing feeling on the lips and tastes lightly like watermelon. Here *click* I already reviewed it and here *click* I mentioned it in a LOTD post.
Manhattan Soft Mat Lipcream 56K
This cool-toned pink dries matte and feels light on the lips. Here *click* I did a review about it.
Maybelline Watershine Elixir Lipstick Vibrant Violet
This called a lipstick, but it's really a gloss. It comes in a tube where you have to twist the bottom so it comes out on the top. It's a berry purpley color with some cool-toned shimmer. It tastes like watermelon.
Yves Rocher Luminelle Gloss Brillantissime 53 Rose Idylle
This gloss is really sheer and I don't like the weird taste at all, but the shimmer's just so so gorgeous. It's bright pink, and I wasn't able to picture that in the photos unfortunately :P
Yves Rocher Coleurs Nature Plumping Sheer Gloss 01 Framboise
This mini gloss has a brush and a very very sticky texture. Due to that is lasts very long. It's a nice raspberry shade, but still wearable with the tiniest hint of shimmer in it.
This was the last part of my lipgloss collection :)
*click* here for part one, and *click* here for part two.
Until next time,
xoxo, Misch

My Lipgloss Collection #2: Reds
Hi guys,
after showing already part #1 of my lipgloss collection, here is the second one, my reds :)
These are the ones I own:
Essence Beach Club LE Wet Look Lipgloss
This one is a really old lipgloss from a Limited Edition, but it's still fine to wear. It's a sticky red with multi-colored glitter particles. I like it :)
Essence Lipgloss ?!?
This one's pretty old, too, but it's okay. The color's a glossy red without any shimmer or anything. It's not fully opaque and has a slight pink undertone. I like to wear this when I want a red that's not too bright or obvious.
Essence Eclipse LE Lipgloss 01 Lunch At Cullen's
This gloss is from last summer's Eclipse Collection, a very opaque dark red with shimmer. This one's really obvious and not wearable for every day.
Rival De Loop Pure Lips 016
A gloss that is another pink-based red. It has a lot of silver shimmer particles, like a frost. The taste's a little weird, unfortunately.
Yves Rocher Les Plaisirs Nature Cherry Fruity Gloss
In this review *click* did I already mention it. It's more on the sheer side, very shiny and glossy, and tastes like soap.
So, that's about this part of my lipgloss collection. If you want a review for anything, go ahead and ask :)
I'll see you guys later!
xoxo, Misch
