Hey there!
Today I have something more random to share. Lately I've been quite into DIY stuff and creating all kinds of things, I love that! And with that, a kind of love for little details emerged. This might sound weird, but I've been obsessed with ribbons!
I think that ribbons make a huge difference when it comes to creating and decorating stuff! I love putting little bows on presents and gift cards, and lately I sewed some onto a bag! The two I took pictures of look just so much like spring with the violet and bright green, I love that!
And the other ribbon I have to show you is made out of felt and a cord string, and it has beeds and little flowers on it, I love that! I actually used it to decorate a flower pot!
I hope you enjoyed this little random post, I love the share things I currently love!
What are your obsessions?

NOTD February 27th: Illamasqua - Kink
Hey everyone!
Today I'd like to show you my second Illamasqua nail polish, called Kink.
Kink is a deep blue-toned green shade. I'd say it falls into the hunter green or bottle green kind of category. It's a technically a creme, but it dries to a rubber finish, meaning something between shiny and matte.
Application was great, I did 2 normal coats which were enough for full opacity. I love the formula, it's so squishy and really easy to work with!
Kink was part of the Fall 2011 Theatre Of The Nameless Collection, but is still available now.
I'm sorry I again have only swatches with top coat, hope you don't mind!
I love this shade, it's one of the only few greens I really like on myself :) What do you think of it?

Review: Balea Professional Pure + Fresh Shampoo
Hey there!
Today I'd like to review a hair product that I've been using for almost a year now, I figured it was time I finally talked about it on here :D Let's talk about the Balea Professional Pure + Fresh Shampoo!
Information:
Today I'd like to review a hair product that I've been using for almost a year now, I figured it was time I finally talked about it on here :D Let's talk about the Balea Professional Pure + Fresh Shampoo!
Information:
- Balea Professional Pure + Fresh Shampoo
- available at dm
- contains 250 ml
- costs around 1,45 Euros
- used to be in a bottle with a pump dispenser
- now you can buy it in a tube, and it's called Deep Cleansing Shampoo, but it's the same thing
- it's a cleansing shampoo, meaning it removes all kinds of residues and silicones from your hair
Positives:
- price
- nice fresh scent
- easy to use
- lathers nicely
- makes your hair and sculp feel light and clean
- really seems to remove residues
Negatives:
- availability
- the pump dispenser doesn't close too well (you have to unscrew it to use it)
--> now they don't have that problem anymore with the tube bottle - when you use just the shampoo your hair is a little hard to brush through
After all, I love this shampoo! I use it once a month, just on its own, to cleanse my hair and sculp, and it really seems to help :) This bottle goes a long way, and I will definitley repurchase it :)
Do you use a cleansing shampoo?
Do you use a cleansing shampoo?

NOTD February 25th: Illamasqua - Vice
Hi everyone!
Long time no see, sorry for that little unintended break! Today I'd like to show you the first of my Illamasqua polishes, called Vice.
Vice is a deep bordeaux vine kind of shade, or maybe also a deep cerise berry color. It has a rubber finish, meaning it dries to somewhat between shimmery and matte.
Application was awesome, this formula is just so great! It glides on, is squishy and not too thick, I love it! I ended up doing 3 thin coats as I had a bit of cuticle dragging, but nothing serious.
Vice was part of the Theatre Of The Nameless Collection of Fall 2011, but is still available. I love this shade, it's very pretty and the formula is just pure awesomeness!
I'm sorry I don't have a NOTD picture without top coat, I just applied one without thinking :D But here is a simple swatch where you can tell the rubber finish:

March 2013 LE Previews
Hi there!
Today I'd like to show you the previews for the upcoming month of March!
Catrice hasn't shown us any LE previews, but instead they'll be releasing lots of new nail polishes! It looks like a couple of nail polishes will stay, but the majority will be totally new! Catrice also mentioned a better formula, so I wouldn't be too sure the old shades will stay exactly the same. Here *click* I found some pictures of them! I'm quite excited about some of the shades, Catrice makes good nail polishes!
As far as Essence is concerned, we first of all have a LE called Sun Kissed *click*. I don't know why Essence releases a summer LE in March, but it looks okay, so I'll form my opinion after I've seen it :D
In addition to that, Essence will add 3 new fragrances to their perfume line *click*. I look forward to smelling them at the store :)
Last but not least, there will also be gift sets by Essence, containing a perfume and 2 nail polishes. A cute idea, but not so much what I need. Here *click* the sets can be seen.
After all, some things really look nice in my opinion! What do you think of it?

Spotted: Essence Oz The Great And Powerful LE
Hey everyone!
Today I have Essence's new LE to share with you, called Oz The Great And Powerful, for which they teamed up with Disney. This LE comes just in time for the movie launch of Oz The Great And Powerful, which I'm looking forward to!
This LE contains 3 eyeshadows, 2 pencil eyeliners, 2 lip balms, 1 blush, 1 highlighting powder, 5 nail polishes and 1 necklace. All products can be seen here *click*.
The eyeshadows come in the shades torquoise, light blue and coral, and they're all very shimmery. Pigmentation seemed to be great!
The pencil eyeliners are green and purple, great for summer and spring looks for sure!
The lip balms are supposed to change color when applied to your lips, in the packaging they look red and pink. Don't think they're very pigmented. They have a very sweet scent, similar to the one of the Hugs & Kisses LE Lip Scrub.
The blush is called cream blush, but it's actually a liquid blush in a bottle with a pump dispenser. It's a coral shade and contains golden shimmer particles. At first I really liked it, but it isn't really that pigmented and the shimmer particles are quite big, so I left it at the store.
The highlighting powder is just gorgeous. Not necessarily because of the color, but because of the print. On it's own it's a light tan shade with a tiny bit of a shimmer, nothing extraordinary. The writing on it, however, is stunning, that's why I bought it. It was super hard to get myself to swatch it! Sorry you can't tell so much with the swatch, but it's a pretty good match for my skin tone. I'd rather recommend this one for a bit darker skin tones. It's called 01 Oz The Great And Powderful (don't you just love that?!) and was 3,25 Euros.
The nail polishes are all crackle nail polishes, which is why I didn't get any. Shades are great for people who like to experiment with them :)
Last but not least, the necklace. It's a green jewel on a black ribbon. Not my style.
After all, I think this is quite a cute LE, matching for Oz. It didn't fully convince me, but it was nice to look at.
What do you think of it?

NOTD February 19th: China Glaze - Running In Circles
Hey guys!
Today I'd like to show you a NOTD using the last left-over China Glaze polish from my haul, Running In Circles.
Running In Circles is a stunning bright green glass fleck. It has this gorgeous glass fleck shimmer which looks a bit golden and makes it so so pretty! The shade of green is a bit lighter than emerald.
Application was great, it went on smoothly and evenly. I ended up doing 3 thin coats for full opacity.
Running In Circles is part of the current Cirque Du Soleil: Worlds Away Collection. It's super stunning, I'm in love with this shade! A good shade for St. Patty's Day I'd say! :D

Illamasqua Haul!
Hi everyone!
A couple of weeks ago Illamasqua had a great sale going on, and I took advantage of it and ordered my first-ever Illamasqua products! I've always loved looking at their stuff and am now more than happy to be able to try out these things myself :)
First of all I got one eyeshadow. I was actually gonna pick something more natural or one of the liquid metals, but when I ordered those had already sold out. So I went for this matte navy blue eyeshadow, called Never. I think this shade isn't too bright, and it works well for my brown eyes. Pigmentation is really great, I'm super content with it :)
Then I got nail polishes. The first one is called Vice, and it's a deep cerise berry shade. It was originally part of the Fall 2011 Theatre Of The Nameless Collection and has a rubber finish, meaning it dries to a finish between shiny and matte. Here are 2 coats.
The other nail polish I bought is called Kink. It was also part of the Fall 2011 Theatre Of The Nameless Collection and is a deep bottle green shade. I normally don't really like green nail polish too much, but this shade is great :) Same rubber finish as Vice, and it also needed 2 coats.
In addition to these products, I got 2 nail polishes for my sister, which she kindly let me picture for you guys.
This is Untold, a red glitter nail polish, very pretty. Swatch is 3 coats.
And, last but not least, Faux Pas, another nail polish from the Fall 2011 Theatre Of The Nameless Collection. It's a blue-toned purple shade, the swatch is actually 1 coat! Pretty shade with the rubber finish.
All of these products were 5£ each in the sale, a really great deal! :) I'm super happy with everything and can't wait to use these products :)

Randomness.
Hi there!
You guys said you wouldn't mind randomness, so here's a bit of this and that! Enjoy :D
Thank you thank you thank you for more than 200 Followers! I love you guys!
It's the little details that make me happy. Don't you just love this adorable new brush holder? It's a flower pot by IKEA and a normal ribbon!
A task in arts class: draw your hand holding something. And what does a beauty blogger like me do?! :D Of course, draw my hand holding a bottle of nail polish! This isn't finished yet, and I know I'm not that good at drawing, but it was lots of fun :)
I hope you enjoyed seeing some randomness!

Trying to organize my blush collection and storage. Why the heck do I own that many coral pink blushes?! :D
A big yay for me learning how to edit my pictures with Gimp :D I'm now able to put a curved watermark around my nail, I'm pretty proud of that! It's the little details that make me happy. Don't you just love this adorable new brush holder? It's a flower pot by IKEA and a normal ribbon!

NOTD February 15th: China Glaze - Champagne Kisses
Hi there!
Today I'd like to show you China Glaze's Champagne Kisses, which I wore for Valentine's Day yesterday.
Champagne Kisses is a is golden champagne (didn't expect that, right?! :D) glitter nail polish. It's quite densely packed with glitter and dries to a gritty finish. It can look slightly holographic in some lighting.
Application was good, it was quite opaque even though it's just a glitter, I did 3 thin coats but 2 would have been enough.
Champagne Kisses looks very christmas-y, and it actually originally was part of China Glaze's Holiday 2012 Collection, called Holiday Joy. However, I think it can also be worn now, and it wasn't really bad for Valentine's Day! On top I added little red hearts to make it a bit more appropriate :)
What do you think of this nail polish?

NOTD February 13th: China Glaze - It's A Trap-eze
Hi there!
Yes, I know, another NOTD, but that's really all I do right now, painting my nails :D Hope you don't mind! Today I've got to show you China Glaze - It's A Trap-eze!
It's A Trap-eze is a nail polish full of glitter. It has a very sheer milky base and is packed with hex glitter in all shades, from orange over blue all the way to green, it's really super colorful and densely packed.
Application was surprisingly good, it's not thick at all! Of course it doesn't glide on as nicely as a creme does, but it's still fine :) Here I did 3 coats.
It's A Trap-eze is part of the current Circe Du Soleil: Worlds Away Collection. This shade is so much fun and works great for the carnival season we're having right now, and that's also why I chose to wear it :) Removal, however, is no fun. It's horrible to get this stuff off! However, I think it's worth it :D

NOTD February 11th: Heart Nail Art with China Glaze - Light As Air
Hi everyone!
Today I'd like to show you a cute nail art design using China Glaze's Light As Air.
Light As Air is a light lilac creme. It's slightly muted and is a very cool-toned shade.Today I'd like to show you a cute nail art design using China Glaze's Light As Air.
Application was great, it has a good consistency which looks great with 2 coats. Here I did 3 to cover up some patches I thought were still visible.
Light As Air was part of the Up & Away Collection of 2010, but should still be available in lots of places.
On top of Light As Air I added little black hearts, a very cute but simple pattern. I just used a dotting tool to create them. This could be something to wear for the upcoming Valentine's Day!
