As part of the new permanent line for Autumn 2014, Catrice introduces a new lip product line called Beautifying Lip Smoother. They are also already part of the It Pieces Limited Edition, which was available starting July.
The Beautifying Lip Smoothers will be available in 3 shades, of which 2 were already to be bought in the aforementioned Limited Edition. The one I have to show you is of the colour 030 Cake Pop.
The main facts about the Beautifying Lip Smoothers are that they contain 9 ml and retail for 3,49 €. They promise shine as well as filling in of little wrinkles.
The scent is very sweet and somewhat like caramel, but it's not overwhelming.
The colour of 030 Cake Pop is a medium pink and it contains tiny shimmer particles. It's pigmentation somewhat sheer, but it's not meant to have a big colour pay-off. Instead, it is supposed to be like a lip balm with a bit of a tint to it.
It has a little flock applicator. Once you push the bottle, the product squeezes out and you can directly apply it to your lips. That makes for a very simple application.
The product is also very easy to spread on the lips. It's not too sticky, and feels very soft on. It adds some shine and makes your lips look fuller. The shimmer particles are not visible on the lips.
The wear is fine, but not very long lasting. As it's rather glossy it also wears off rather fast. But the smooth, cared feeling remains even when the actual product is gone.
The Beautifying Lip Smoother is said to be a dupe for the Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector. It looks pretty much the same, and according to many reviews out there, also has the same attributes. And the Catrice version is definitely more inexpensive!
Has anyone tried this product?

Review: Astor Lipcolor Butter 015 Cheeky Cherry
Hey there!
Today it's time for a review of another one of Astor's Soft Sensation Lipcolor Butters, this time in the shade 015 Cheeky Cherry.
Information:- Astor Soft Sensation Lipcolor Butter
- shade 015 Cheeky Cherry, which is a bright red with blue undertones
- contains very few shimmer particles
- has a soft vanilla scent
- called a mix between a lipstick, lipgloss and lipbalm
- costs 5,95 Euros
- price is okay
- very easy to apply, even with the bright color
- great pigmentation
- feels very smooth on the lips, like a lip balm
- great scent
- has slight shine, and the shimmer is barely visible
Negatives:
- easily wears off when eating and drinking
- doesn't really fade gradually but gets a bit patchy
I really like both shades a lot! The quality of the Lipcolor Butters is really nice, they feel so good on and that's what I love them for.
Have you tried any of the shades?
xoxo, Misch

Review: Kiko Fierce Spirit LE Glow Touch Lips & Cheeks 01 Bitter Margarita
Hi guys!
Today I'd like to review Kiko's Glow Touch Lips & Cheeks product which I already showed you in this haul *click*.
Information:Today I'd like to review Kiko's Glow Touch Lips & Cheeks product which I already showed you in this haul *click*.
- Kiko Glow Touch Lips & Cheeks
- part of the Fierce Spirit LE Summer 2013
- shade 01 Bitter Margarita, the first out of four
- color is a coral pink, no shimmer whatsoever
- comes in a little pot
- contains 18 g
- costs 5,90 Euros, now on sale for 2,95 Euros
- cream product to be used on both lips and cheeks
Positives:
- price, especially the sale one
- cute container that closes nicely so you can always carry it around
- very pretty color
- nice creamy consistency
- nice vanilla scent
- easy to apply to lips with fingers or lip brush
- easy to apply to cheeks with fingers or blush brush (I find a stipling brush works best)
- great pigmentation, but not too strong
Negatives:
- limited
- doesn't last too long on the lips
- might look a bit too shiny on your cheeks if you have oily skin
The color of this product reminds me a lot of Astor's Lipcolor Butter in Feeling Feline. They also have a very very similar scent. The color is almost identical, the Astor product is a bit more cool-toned. Don't mind having both, though :D
After all, I really like this product! I mainly use it as a blush because it makes for a great look :)Has anyone of you tried it?

Little Kiko Haul
Hi guys!
I don't know why, but whenever I'm in Italy, I feel the need to check out Kiko. Maybe that's because in Italy I am able to find Kiko stores more frequently than here in southern Bavaria. But even so, there really is no difference between German and Italian Kiko products. I nevertheless went to Kiko during my recent Italy trip, and bought three lovely products.
Pigmentation is really good but not too much, and it can definitely be built up.
In Italy Kiko eyeshadows were on sale for 2,95 Euros, normally they are 4,90 Euros.
The color is a coral pink shade, without any shimmer or glitter. Its scent is very sweet and smells like vanilla, I love that. It is very similar to Astor's Lip Color Butter in 011 Feeling Feline in terms of both shade and scent, I can do a comparison if you wish!
It's not over-pigmented, but it does have a really nice color pay-off.
On sale it was 2,95 Euros.
Kiko nail polishes normally retail for 4,90 Euros, but right now they are all on sale for 1,50 Euros, at least in Italy and Germany.
That's it for the cosmetics stuff I bought in Italy. A very little haul, but I really look forward to trying these products :)
What do you think of them?

Kiko Eyeshadow 132
Kiko's eyeshadow in the shade 132 is a warm chocolate brown. It has a golden shimmer that makes it look a tiny bit metallic, but it is rather small and not crumbly. The shade isn't too dark and I bet very versatile, to be used in lots of different looks that is, from natural to dramatic.Pigmentation is really good but not too much, and it can definitely be built up.

Kiko Fierce Spirit LE Glow Touch Lips & Cheeks 01 Bitter Margarita
Kiko's Fierce Spirit LE from earlier on this year was on sale, too, and I bought one of their Glow Touch Lips & Cheeks products in the shade 01 Bitter Margarita. It's a little pot with a cream product in it, which can be used as both blush and lip balm. The color is a coral pink shade, without any shimmer or glitter. Kiko Nail Polish 377
Last but not least I bought one of Kiko's nail polishes, in the shade 377. It is a light pink with lilac tones to it. Rather cool-toned and of a creme finish. Opaque with 2 coats, nice squishy formula. I really like it! In reality it's way more lilac than in the pictures!Kiko nail polishes normally retail for 4,90 Euros, but right now they are all on sale for 1,50 Euros, at least in Italy and Germany.

Review: Essence Hugs & Kisses LE Lip Scrub 01 Be My Valentine
Hi everyone!
Time to review the last product from Essence's Hugs & Kisses LE, the lip scrub! Here you go:
Information:
Time to review the last product from Essence's Hugs & Kisses LE, the lip scrub! Here you go:
Information:
- Essence Lip Scrub 01 Be My Valentine
- part of the Hugs & Kisses LE, January 2013
- comes in a little pot
- has a jelly consistency with little exfoliating particles in it
- costs 1,95 Euros
- contains 5g
Positives:
- price
- nice consistency
- the particles are gentle, they feel a little like sugar scrub particles
- it exfoliates nicely
- has a very nice fruity sweet scent
- it removes dead skin cells very well
Negatives:
- it's limited
- it might be too much exfoliation for sensitive lips
- it dries out your lips a little
After all, I really like this lip scrub! It works well for my lips, and for me it's normal to use a moisturizer afterwards so my lips don't dry out. If your lips aren't that sensitive, I'll recommend it for you :)
Has anyone of you tried it?
xoxo, Misch

Spotted: Essence Hugs & Kisses LE
Hey there!
Today I'd like to shade my thoughts about Essence's Hugs & Kisses LE, which is a Valentine's Day themed one. It's quite a big LE!
This LE contains 1 eyeshadow palette, 2 glitter eyeliners, 1 lip scrub, 2 lip tints, 1 blush, 8 nail polishes, 1 set of nail stickers, 1 pair of fake lashes and one perfume in 2 sizes.
Here *click* you can see all of the promo pictures!
The eyeshadow palette looks really cute with its packaging, and the shades are also sweet spring-like colorful shades. Not so much what I would wear, but certainly cute :)
The 2 glitter eyeliners are cute, but not so much my taste.
The lip scrub comes in a little red pot. It has a jelly-like consistency and a fruity, sweet scent. I can't wait to try this one out! Super curious how it will exfoliate my lips. It was 1,95 Euros and is called 01Be My Valentine.
The lip tints come in super bright shades, hot pink and red. They don't look like they contain any kind of shimmer. I've heard great things about them, but I figured I wouldn't wear them often enough.
The blush is as the main color a light cool-toned pink shade with a silvery and very fine shimmer. On top of this, it has the letters L, O, V and E in the shades pink, violet and green. At first I thought they were just an overspray, but turns out they actually have a color pay-off! It should be interesting how the green mixes in when you wear it :D I'll be testing it! The blush was 2,45 Euros and is called 01 Dating Prince Charming.
The nail polishes are 4 bright creme shades and 4 glitter toppers. They all looked nice, and they're actually mini bottles with just 5ml! I ended up buying just my favorite one from the glitter toppers, called 04 Sunshine And Red Roses. It's a clear base packed with small red glitter, a couple of blue and silver ones in there, and big red heart-shaped ones as well. For the swatch I did 2 coats. It was 1,45 Euros.
The nail stickers are really pretty, but you guys know I prefer free-hand nail art.
I also don't really use fake lashes, so I left them at the store.
Last but not least, the perfume. For me the scent is too sweet, didn't like it that much.
After all, it's a great big LE, the theme is awesome and all of the products are great for that. There should be something for everyone!
What do you think of it?
