Updated Hair Routine

Hello out there!
I've noticed that I haven't updated my routines in forever, and since the last time I showed it to you *click*, my Hair Routine changed quite often! With my latest routine I'm quite happy, so I'm gonna show it to you!
I don't do too much stuff with my hair, I wash it every other day, and when it's washed I leave it on it's own most of the time, I don't even blow-dry it. I find that this works best for my long hair, it looks very healthy most of the time. Of course I have bad hair days, who doesn't have them?
For my shampoo I use Schauma's Apple Extract Shampoo. I use this mainly on my head, and don't apply it directly to my tips. When I wash it out, it rinses everything bad out, and my hair feels clean.
In the next step I use a conditioner, Swiss O Par's Green Apple Conditioner that is. It doesn't contain silicones, and it still makes my hair very smooth and easy to comb. When my hair is wet, I only comb it with a wide-toothed comb, btw, because that's better for your hair.
I do like to use hair masks, but at the moment I don't have one I use on a regular basis. I tried out a few lately, in sample sizes, and I'm not sure yet what I want to use often. So I can't name one here.
For extra hair care, I have two things, and the first is Dove's Therapy Heat Protectant. I use this whenever I use heat on my hair. And the other product is something that I've owned for quite some time. It's Dove's Smooth & Straight Therapy Hair Milk. It contains a lot of silicones, so I only use it when my hair really needs some care.
That's already it for the products I use! As I said, it's not a lot, but I'm really content with it :)
My only problem right now is that when it gets colder, my scalp gets really dry. Do you have any advice, maybe even some DIY stuff, for a nice care for a dry scalp? That would be great!
What do you do for hair care?
Until next time!

My Foundation Routine

Hello there!
After showing you my Hair routine and my Skincare routine, I am gonna show you another routine of mine: my foundation routine!
I have a few pimples and breakouts and all that kind of stuff, so I go for medium to high coverage. I don't do this whole face stuff all the time, but for example when I go out I want my face to look even. Before I do any step of this routine, I wash my face and apply my moisturizer. The steps I do are shown in this skincare routine post *click*

1. The first thing I do is apply my foundation all over my face, making it even. The foundation I use is the Astor Mattitude HD Foundation in the color 02 Porcelain (*click* for a review). I use either my fingers, the Beliance foundation brush or, most perferably, the Sigma F80 Brush *click for a review*, depending on what I'm on the mood for.

2. I do have dark circles and blemishes and stuff, so in case the foundation didn't cover them up, I use a concealer. It's the Maybelline Dream Mousse Concealer and I'm in the shade 04 rose beige, at least right now. Sometimes I switch it up with the Essence 3in1 concealer, in case I need a color corrector. *Click* here to get to know more about  a color corrector!
I apply it with either my fingers or the Beliance eyeshadow brush which is actually really good to apply concealer.

3. Then I set my face with my favorite powder, the CadeaVera powder in beige, and for that I use a powder brush from the Rossmann line For Your Beauty. I don't apply a lot of powder because I don't go for any more coverage, I just want to set it. I try to really work it into my skin and connect with the foundation, and that works really well with that brush, because it isn't so dense, so it gives more of a natural finish.

4. After that I apply my blush, bronzer and/or highlighter if I want to, and that's it.

What do you do for your foundation routine? I'd like to know!

My Hair Routine

Hello dear readers,
a while ago I showed you my skincare routine and now I decided to show you another routine of mine: my hair routine.

I have pretty long hair, it hits me right above my waist. It's brunette with some natural gold and red strands in it. I never colored it or had some high- or lowlights. It's always been natural. My hair is a little wavy and curly, but tends to be flat sometimes.
I wash my hair every other day, sometimes even every third day. I don't look for anything special when it comes to my hair routine, I just don't want to use any silicones on it all the time. I know, there are tons of discussions whether silicones are bad for your hair or not. They've never done any damage to my hair, but I still try not to use them too often. Let's not start a discussion about it here, I think everyone can decided that for themselves.
I don't blow-dry my hair on a regular basis nor do I straighten or curl it with an iron. I try not to use heat on my hair whenever I can do it differently.
Where the products I use on my hair are concerned, I don't use that much stuff, but I still take care of it well.

My shampoo is the Franck Provost Volume Expert Shampoo and I like this one a lot. Doesn't have any silicones, comes in a huge but inexpensive bottle and smells good.
After that I use a conditioner by Franck Provost, the Shine Expert Conditioner. I don't like the scent too much, but it cares my hair pretty well. I haven't been using it for too long now, though.

I use both the shampoo and the conditioner every time I wash my hair.

Something I also use regularly is the Alverde Hair Tip Fluid. I just put it into my tips and it cares them really well, I like it :)

Once a week I use a hair mask, the Hairwell hair mask Anti Hair Damage about which I already talked in this haul post *click*  a little. I like it!

Then there are some other products I use whenever I need them:
I already told you that I don't blow-dry or straighten or curl my hair with heat, but sometimes I have to do it. Whenever that's the case, I use the Dove Therapy Heat Protectant.
Whenever I want my hair to be more curly than it naturally is, I use the Taft Curl Balm. I love the floral scent and it works pretty fine for me.
And of course, when I style my hair, I use hairspray to fix it. At the moment I'm using the John Frieda Hairspray, but I'm not sure whether I'm totally happy with it. I haven't found the perfect hair spray so far, but I like this one because of it's scent. :)

And that's what I use to care my hair! Do you want a review for anything? Tell me!
What do you use in your hair routine?
I'll see you later!

My Skincare Routine

Hey guys :)
I thought I might show you my skin care routine, just because I stopped using the Clinique line a few weeks ago. I know that there are a ton of young people out there, dealing with pimples, acne and blemishes, and some spend so much money on expensive skin care products that don't work after all.
I found a inexpensive line at the drugstore that works for my skin, and I think it's a good idea to show this one to you. Of course, every skin is different, please keep that in mind! So I can't promise you this will work for you, but it might, and even if it doesn't - it's very inexpensive!
The products I'm talking about are from Synergen, from the line for skin with blemishes and stuff. They're the ones that come in navy blue packagings.
My Skin Care Routine:
MORNING:
First, I wash my face using the Synergen Wash Creme for skin with blemishes. It contains little peeling particles which I think is really nice, and they're not too harsh. It also cleanses my skin really nicely and leaves it very clean. but not dried out.
Then I just use the Synergen Hydro-Fluid for skin with blemishes. It has a nice light consistency, like a gel, but when you apply it to your face, it kinda turns into a more rich lotion. I really like it, but it might not be moisturizing enough for people with dry skin.
And that's it!
NIGHT:
Again, I wash my face using the Synergen Wash Creme. This one gets rid off all of my make-up, so I don't need an additional make-up remover. When I wore a lot of make-up, I wash my face a second time using this product, just to cleans it more thoroughly.
Next, I use the Synergen Toner for skin with blemishes. I don't use this every night, just when I feel I need it. I don't think it's good to use it that often, because it contains alcohol and that can dry out your skin. That's also the reason why I don't use it in the morning.
When I have an extremely big pimple or something, I use the Synergen Anti-Spot-Gel. It works really well and dries out any pimples pretty fast.
I don't use a moisturizer at night.
Once A Week:
I exfoliate my skin once a week and for that I use the Yves Rocher Apricot Peeling. I really like it, and it makes my skin super-squeaky-clean :)
In winter, I sometimes add a moisturizing mask, but that one is kind optional for me and I don't even have a regular one I grab for, I just get one that seems nice ;)

This is the first time I have a skin care routine that just uses products from one brand (except for the exfoliator). Normally I kinda switch it up...don't know, maybe it's because these work so well for me. If I had to pick my favorite product out of this routine, it would be the Wash Creme.
Do you use any of these products as well? Or what do you use it your skin care routine? I'd like to know :)
Until then!
xoxo, Misch
