What I'd like to show you today is pictures of one of my newest products to try out: Benefit's The Porefessional.
The Porefessional is a primer which is meant to minimize your pores. There are two possible ways of application: underneath your make-up as an actual primer, so you have a base to work with, or to refresh it, directly over your make-up. The first possibility will guarantee a longer last.
The product comes in different sizes, and what I bought is a travel size, as I thought it would be enough to try it out. It therefore contains 7,5 ml and cost me 10,90 €. The regular size contains 22 ml and retails for 33,99 €.
It comes in a little tube that you just press to get the product out. You then directly apply it to your face using your fingers. The warmth of your fingers will melt it into your skin easily.
The consistency is very smooth, you can tell that a lot of silicones are included in it. It makes your skin feel very smooth and even, but also closes and therefore cloggs your pores. You can tell a shrinking of the pores, I was definitely able to see it!
Due to the fact that it cloggs your pores in order to make them look smaller, I wouldn't recommend this for daily use. That would be too much, and not be good for your skin. For special occasions, however, I can most likely see myself using it again.
Has anyone of you tried it out?
xoxo, M

Spotted: Essence Love Letters LE
Hi there!
Today I'd like to talk about Essence's current Love Letters LE.
This LE contains an eyeshadow palette, 2 eyeliner pencils, 2 jumbo lip pencils, 1 highlighting powder, 5 nail polishes, 1 stampy set, 1 set of powder papers and one diary. You can find an overview of all products here *click*.
The eyeshadow palette consists of all light shades but one, and they all appeared to be shimmery. I unfortunately wasn't able to try it at the store, there were not testers.
The eyeliner pencils each have the pencil on one end, and a little smudger on the other. That can be used to create smokey looks, which is rather nice. Colours are dark blue and silver.
The jumbo lip pencils are very shiny and sheer. They barely add any colour to your lips.
The highlighting powder looks very cute, it has some kind of saying on it. There was not strong shimmer going on with this one.
The nail polishes are all pastel shades but one, which is a dark grey. They are all very nice but not that extraordinary to be honest.
The stampy set contains an image plate that has some patterns themed around the topic of love, and also a scraper and a stamp. I didn't actually know that stamping was still huge in the nail art world, but I'm sure this is a lovely set of designs if you like to do it!
The powder papers are basically blotting papers, but they have a transparent powder added to them that you apply directly when blotting your face. Intrigued by the idea of this technique I bought one of these sets. Expect a review to be up soon, I'm rather curious how these work.
Last but not least, a little note book that Essence calls a diary. It looks cute.
After all, a cute little LE that definitely has a feeling of Valentine's Day and spring to it. I wasn't too interested in the products, but that could also be due to the fact that none of them were truly outstanding.
What do you think of this LE?
xoxo, Misch

September Favs
Hey guys!
I know I'm horribly late with this, but better late than never, right?! Here are my favorites for the month of September!
Nivea Body Milk - this is my favorite body product of all time. Whenever it gets colder, I pull this out. It's the perfect moisturizer after a nice shower!
Sebamed Soap-free wash piece - I've been trying this new product for my face, a cleanser! It looks like a soap bar, but it's actually soap-free! It's supposed to support your skin's own processes to keep your skin clean. A review will follow soon!
Sleek Blush by 3 Flame - my friends brought me this blush from London, and it contains the greatest colors! I really love them, especially for fall, they are so great quality! Here *click* is my review on it!
Sephora Cotton Flower Eau de Toilette - this is a cute little scent that I picked up at Sephora during the summer. It smells sweet but also clean, and I really like it!
Essence Longlasting Lipstick 01 Coral Calling - a lovely peachy pink lipstick with a creamy texture. I wore it quite often! Review: *click*.

Haul from Italy!
Hey there!
After showing you some pictures of my vacation yesterday, I'd like to continue with talking about my shopping today! I didn't go too crazy, but there was one thing I'd been looking forward so much, and that was Sephora. Here in Germany we don't have it, so I've never been to one before, but I took the opportunity and went to the one in Riccione. Was a great store, pretty much empty so I could do my looking around taking lots of time.
I was gonna get myself a couple of small items, but I ended up buying something bigger and way more exciting: Urban Decay's Naked 2 Palette! I love it, it's absolutely gorgeous and I can't wait to try it! Swatches will follow in a separate post as it's a lot of colors.
At Sephora I also purchased a mini bottle of their Triple Action Cleansing Water, a make-up remover for your whole face.
Last but not least, one of Sephora's mini Eau de Toilettes. It's a mini spray of fragrance, and I got the Cotton Flower one. Love the sweet scent!
Then, I went to Kiko.
I bought one of their nail polishes, in the shade 245. It's a gorgeous deep purple shade with a fine, multi-colored shimmer in it, mainly looking red. It's beautiful, but unfortunately my camera wouldn't pick it up in the swatch, which is 2 coats.
Also, some of their lip liners were on sale, the Smart Lip Pencils. I decided to go bold and bought a bright orange red shade, called 705. It contains a tiny bit of a shimmer. Very pigmented.
Last but not least, another nail polish. I bought the travel size issue of Elle Italy, and it came with a nail polish from an Italian brand called Deborah Milano. The shade I got is 55 Blue Lagoon. 2 coats in the swatch, it's a slightly teal-toned navy blue.
I really like what I got, and can't wait to try it all out :)
What do you think of the stuff I got?

Review: Synergen Moisturizer for impure skin
Hi everyone,
today I'd like to review my current facial moisturizer, by Synergen.
Information:
today I'd like to review my current facial moisturizer, by Synergen.
Information:
- Synergen Moisturizer
- made for impure skin
- available at Rossmann
- contains 50ml
- costs 1,95 Euros
- is antibacterial
- promises to reduce blemishes
- is vegan
- contains 2% salicylic acid
- price
- light texture
- refreshing on face
- really seems to reduce blemishes, making them heal faster
- is vegan
- easy to apply
- availability
- doesn't reduce the forming of blemishes
- isn't moisturizing enough, not even for my combination-oily skin
So, after all, I do like this product as it seems to improve my skin. On the other hand, this is called a moisturizer, and every night I have to apply a richer product in order to keep my skin moisturized enough! Can't fully recommend it, and definitely not if you have dry skin!
Has anyone of you tried it out?

We had tons of cool things this year, lots of new products and limited editions, and I had quite a few favorites! Here they are, in no particular order, my top 10 products of the year!
Catrice Hollywood's Fabulous 40ties LE Eyebrow Lifter C01 Casablanca's Highlight
You guys knew this had to be included. Ever since it was released this September I've been using it daily. One of the top products of 2012! Here *click* I reviewed it.
Essence MySkin Tinted Moisturizer 01 Light
This tinted moisturizer is just perfect for my skin. It freshens up my complexion and hydrates it. Since March when it was launched I've been using it every single, also have it in the darker shade for when I'm tan. Review: *click*.
Essence Color3 nail polish series
Here we have a nail polish line Essence released around the beginning of 2012. I love how all of the shades look great with its partner, but how you can also use them on their own. The left shades are all highly opaque whereas the ones on the right have very special shimmers. Here are some NOTDs with them:
A Walk In The Park, Midnight Date, Shopping Trip In Soho, Kiss On Top Of The Rock, It's Two Bright.
A Walk In The Park, Midnight Date, Shopping Trip In Soho, Kiss On Top Of The Rock, It's Two Bright.
Essence Rebels LE Lip & Cheek Pot 01 Peach Punk
This creme blush came out in April, and I immediately loved it. It's a very interesting shade but actually totally flattering when worn. Love how it makes you look so fresh! Review: *click*.
Catrice FeMALE LE Cream To Powder Blush C01 A Woman's World
Another cream blush, yes. A really good and wearable one, I loved it for day to day looks and still use it all the time. Review can be found here *click*.
Catrice Eyeshadow 400 My First Copperware Party
Now this has already been released in 2011, but in 2012 I learned to love it. This is the prettiest and most wearable shade ever, and it can be used for so many different looks! I love it! Here *click* you can see swatches of it.
Balea Professional Oil Repair Hair Oil
This hair product is one I only discovered this winter, but I love it a lot! Very great care for long and damaged hair, and not heavy at all! Review is here *click*.
SunOzon Sun Fluid for face SPF 30
This sun screen has saved me this summer. Finally a good one that doesn't make you look shiny and greasy, and you can mix it very well with your moisturizer! Review: *click*.
Ebelin Professional Eyeshadow & Concealer Brush
A great brush I discovered this year. I've been using it all the time for my concealer and really love it :) Review: *click*.
Essence Breaking Dawn Part 2 LE Blush 01 Renesmee Red
Last but not least, the famous blush from Essence's Breaking Dawn Part 2 LE. A red matte shade, quite unique! It has a great texture and I like it a lot! Review: *click*.
Well guys, these are the products I loved most in 2012! I hope I forgot nothing! What were your favs? Please leave me your links in the comments!

October '12 Favs
Hey there!
Today I'd like to show you my favorites for the month of October, here you go:
Catrice Hollywood's Fabulous 40ties LE - Blush - I really like the coral pink shade of this blush, and the fact that it's matte. Here *click* I reviewed it.
Catrice Hollywood's Fabulous 40ties LE - Eyebrow Lifter - This eyebrow lifter is an eyebrow pencil in a light light pink shade, perfect for highlights. I use it around the eye and also on my cupid's bow :) Here *click* is the review on it.
Nivea Rich Body Milk - This body lotion has saved my dry skin this month! I love the classic Nivea scent and how well it moisturizes :)
Synergen Anti-Blemish Gel - I'm a huge fan of this gel for concentrated treatment of blemishes. This one helped my broken out skin a lot this month! :)
That's already it, I don't have a lot of favorites for October, mainly because I was just using the basic stuff I always use, but whatever.
What are your favorites?
xoxo, Misch

Review: Rival de Loop Aqua Spray
Hey guys,
today I want to review Rival de Loop's Aqua Spray, which I already mentioned in my August Favorites.
Information:
today I want to review Rival de Loop's Aqua Spray, which I already mentioned in my August Favorites.
Information:
- Rival de Loop Aqua Spray Aloe Vera
- available at Rossmann
- contains 75ml
- costs 1,25 Euros
- is basically water in a bottle with a small diffuser to spray it onto your face
- is supposed to vitalize, hydrate and refresh your face
- you can use it whenever you like, also over make-up
- price
- Aloe Vera as a good moisturizing ingredient
- very small diffuser that makes the mist super fine
- easy to be used
- refreshes nicely, especially when it's hot
- soaks in quickly
- it doesn't make your face wet, it's just a soft mist
- you can use it over make-up without smudging it
- it doesn't dry out, it moisturizes lightly
- availability
- it's not really that moisturizing and rich, so don't expect it to take care of very dry skin
After all, I'm a big fan of this Aqua Spray. During the summer I keep it in my purse all the time, it's just perfect for a refreshment on the go. I think that everyone can use this, no matter what type of skin. It doesn't do any miracles to your skin, but it's a nice product.
What do you think of these facial sprays?
xoxo, Misch
