Spotted: Astor Perfect Stay Transfer-proof Lip Tint&Care

Hi guys!
A while back I saw these lip markers by Astor at my local drugstore, but I totally forgot to blog about them, sorry! So here's a kinda late post on that:
The Perfect Stay Transfer-proof Lip Tint&Care are kinda like markers, one side is for the color and the other one a lipbalm. They are supposed to be very longlasting, they're about 8 Euros and there are 10 colors available.
They are all really bright and not that easy to remove, I had the swatches on the back of my hand almost all day long, although I washed my hand really often ;P
I didn't buy one, they weren't that interesting to me. Does anyone of you guys own one? Do you like it?
Until next time, xoxo, Misch

Review + NOTD: Essence Studio Nails

Hi there!
Let's go on with another review of a product from the new Essence permanent line! This time I want to talk about about their Studio Nails Nail Fashion Sticker.
Basic Information:
They are called a top innovation, although we already know the way how to use these from Minx. The ones I'm using are the 12 trust me! ones. They have like a taupe background color with white flowers and stuff on them.
It comes with 14 nail foils in 7 sizes, so you shoud be able to find a shape for your nails. They are supposed to stay for up to 5 days.
There are 14 different designs available, but nothing nude or something. That's a pity, because some of them aren't that wearable for everyday.
That's how you should use them:
First make sure you nails are all clean (especially oil-free) and dry. Then select your size of the sticker for you nail and press it on. Then cut off the tip if it is too long and file it down. Seal it with topcoat. Peel off to remove.
That's how I liked them & what they did for me:
Applying these stickers was pretty easy, although it was sometimes hard to file them down because they tend to kinda chip at the edges. I really like the design of these stickers, really pretty. The sizes were actually perfect for me, at least the width! They fitted really nicely. I sealed them with topcoat and it was fine. The wear isn't the best, they lasted three days on me before I had to remove them because the edges were starting to come off and they peeled off. Removal was easy, but it kinda took parts of my nail with it and that wasn't nice at all.
POSITIVE:
+ nice design
+ easy to apply
+ works really quickly, no long waiting time

NEGATIVE:
- there are no nude colors/designs to choose from
- a bit hard to shorten them, especially to file them down
- doesn't last the promised 5 days
- they removed parts of the top layer of my nails

Do I recommend them?
Partly. If you like one of the designs, go ahead and try it out, but it's definitely not something to replace nail polish. It might be nice for a special occasion, but else...Not something for everyday.

I hope you liked this review! Did you try these stickers out as well? Tell me!
xoxo, Misch

Halloween Tutorials: Crazy Rainbow Eye

Hey guys,
today I have another Halloween Look for you! This time it's a crazy colorful rainbow eye, I hope you like it! I know, this one is really crazy, but maybe some of you want to do it?!
Let's get started:
For the whole shadows I used my 120 palette.
This look doesn't have a defined crease, and every color was applied a bit over the crease, just so you know ;) All of these colors are shimmery, because I find that the shimmery colors from the 120 palette are better pigmented than the matte ones. And glitter was too much here. With this look, it's all about achieving the best color pay-off and belending the colors together seamlessly, so it's one fade from red to orange to yellow to green on the top lid, and from torquoise to blue to purple on the lower lid. Ther should be no visible color transition.
I first applied a pinkish red to my inner corner, then placed a orange color next to it and blended them together by using more reddish red. Then I put a yellow color next to the orange one and blended them by using a yellow-ish orange. The yellow fades into a light green, just blend them by using a yellow-ish green.
On the lower lashline, you want to start with purple in the inner corner, and slightly blend that into the pinkish red on the top lid. Don't blend too much, just a bit. The you want to place a mid-toned blue next to the purple, going outwards, and blend these together, using a blue-ish purple. When it comes to the outer corner, you want to apply a torquoise color and blend that into both the blue on the lower lashline and the light green on the top lid. Then you're done with the color! Make sure every transition is seamless!
Then just apply black eyeliner to the top lashline and the waterline, add some mascara and you're ready!
Don't overdo it with the rest of your face, just stick with very nude colors for blush and lips!
I'm sorry for these awkward pictures, they just wouldn't turn good :P

I hope you liked this one and let me know if you try it out!
xoxo, Misch

Review + Dupe + NOTD October 13th: Essence - Choose Me!

Hey dear readers,
today I have my first review of the new Essence permanent line for you. I got a chance to try out the products I got enough now, so more reviews will be following!
The first thing I want to talk about is a new nail polish for the color&go line. It is called Choose Me! and is a really pretty teal-ish blue color with silver and green shimmer/glitter. It's really stunning and changes with the light. I like it! It requires 3 coats, though, because of the glitter and the jelly base.
This color costs 1.25 Euros for a 5 ml bottle. Pretty inexpensive, huh? And there's another good point about it: the wear. I wore it for five days straight, only had a little tipwear, but no chipping AT ALL! That is so amazing :)
And if you thought that was it, it isn't! There's another great point about it: It a dupe for three colors: OPI Catch Me In Your Net from the Summer Flutter Collection, Zoya Charla, and Orly Halley's Comet from the Cosmic FX collection. Isn't that amazing?! I think so ;)
Unfortunately, my camera doesn't pick up the beautiful duocrome like shimmer, but just google it and you'll find better pictures!

I really like this nail polish, and I highly recommend it! Go and check it out!
I hope you liked this post and I'll see you later!
xoxo, Misch

Clinique Anti Blemish Solutions Skincare Line - Week 2

Hi there!

today I have another weekly episode of my Clinique skincare line!
This week it first seemed to be okay with my skin and to help it. But now, it broke me out at the weekend! Of course, I can't prove that it really was the Clinique skincare line, but I haven't eaten anything else, nor did I used a different product! I have no idea...but I hope it'll go away soon and won't happen again!
The Soap Bar got smaller, of course, now you can't read the Clinique stamp anymore. The toner contains about 1 quarter to 1 third less product, but with the moisturizer I can't tell, because the packaing isn't clear. I think it contains more than the toner still does, because I only use the moisturizer in the a.m.

I'll update you about it again next week!

Spotted: MNY & Essence Limited Editions

Hi Beauties,
today I just have a quick post for you guys, I'm already pretty tired :P
I went to dm at the weekend and saw two new Limited Editions: The I'm A Jungle Chick LE by MNY and the Show Off LE by Essence.

MNY I'm A Jungle Chick LE:

This Limited Editions contains 1 blush, 3 eyeshadows, 3 nail polishes, 2 lipglosses and 3 duo pencil eyeliners. They are all in olive, dark, almost black green and pink, some light, some darker. I think this LE is pretty okay, there was nothing that was super spectacular, but it's a nice one.
All I got is the olive eyeshadow 301A, and I really like it. It's not too dark, you can pair it with a nude look and wear some color without doing too much. I did a neutral EOTD, I'm going to show it to you soon :)

I'm actually thinking about going there again and getting the olive nail polish as well, it seemed to be really pretty.

Essence Show Off LE:
This Limited Edition is dm-only, which, honestly, I don't really like. I think it's just about make more money when it comes to these only Limited Editions. That's one of the reasons why I didn't buy anything.
It contains a bright blush, 4 eyeshadows, an angled blush brush, 4 nail polishes and 2 lipglosses. The blush was a bit too bright for my taste, the eyeshadows were well pigmented and the brush seemed to have not enought bristles. Franky, I wasn't surprised by it at all and I didn't like this collection. But maybe next time, huh?!

So, did you already see this collections? Did you buy anything? Let me know!
Until next time! xoxo, Misch
