Spotted: The New Catrice Permanent Line!

Hello dear readers,
as some of you might know, Catrice changed all of their nail polishes into a new design in spring. Now they designed a lot of products new and got them prettier. And as they changed the designs, they also changed the actual products. Not everything yet, but a big part of the permanent line.
These things are new:
- 3 new Ultimate Nail Lacquers
- 32 new Absolute Eye Color Mono Eyeshadows
- 2 different new lipgloss lines
- a lot of different mascaras
- brushes
- multicolored powders
- new eyeshadow duos
- new smokey eyes kits
- a brow kit

I really like all of these products, they got so pretty and they're so good quality! The eyeshadows are really well pigmented and everything has these amazing cute names :) Catrice turned into a way better brand in both look and quality. Earlier, it wasn't that amazing products, but now, WOW! I really have to say: Well done, Catrice, it's perfect!
So far, I just got one eyeshadow, but I'll get more, definitely! The color I got is called 070 Mr. Copper's Fields, so adorable :)
Have you already seen the new Catrice Permanent Line? How do you like it, are you as amazed as I am? I'd like to know!
Until next time, xoxo, Misch

October 2010 Favs

Hey Beauties,
believe it or not, October is already over! Of course, this month I had a few special products I used the most, and I'm gonna show them now!

Alverde Baked Blush in 10 Peach - such a pretty and highly pigmented color! Love it so much, wore it every day.
OPI I'm Suzi & I'm a Chocoholic - the perfect fall nail polish, I wore it two weeks straight and I just couldn't get enough of it :)
120 palette - I did so many Halloween looks for this blog this month, and so I needed it all the time. There are so many colors in it, I love it.
As you might notice, there aren't that many favorites of mine this month...that's just because I didn't have time to do any different looks than my everyday looks and the Halloween ones I did a few times, so there isn't that much interesting that doesn't belong to my everyday routine. Because I think, if I did mention my products from my everyday routine, just because I use them so often, I would have the same products to mention every month. And that's kinda boring, isn't it?
What were your favs for the month of October?
I'll see you soon! xoxo, Misch

NOTD October 31th: Halloween Glitter Combo

Hey guys,
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
This is the nail polish combo that I wear today, on Halloween. :) It's a black nail polish with pink glitter in it, and over it I layered a blue-gold-purple glitter nail polish. The first color is by Essence, from their Eclipse Collection, and it's called 01 Undead? I saved this one for Halloween because it's the perfect color for that. The pink glitter isn't that outstanding, so I decided to add that glitter polish over it, it's OPI Sparkle-icious from their Burlesque Holiday 2010 Collection. It's a fun and funky combo and I like it for an occasion like Halloween.
So what are you doing today? Anything fancy? When you go to a party, what costume are you wearing? I'm sorry I didn't do any more Halloween tutorials, I actually wanted to, but I just didn't have the time for that. :P
Okay guys, have a Happy Halloween! xoxo, Misch

Spotted + Haul: Essence Metallics Limited Edition

Hi there,
I'm sorry for being MIA the last couple of days, didn't have access to the internet :( Pretty bad, huh? But now I'm back and I have vacation for one week, so I can blog a little more.
I just saw the new Essence LE at my drugstore and I just had to blog about it :)
It contains these things: 3 eyeshadow quads with gel eyeliner, 3 glitter lipsticks, 5 nail polishes (4 of them are magnectic), 1 magnet to create a pattern with the magnetic nail polishes, 3 jumbo eyeshadow pencils, 1 gel eyeliner brush and 1 body glitter spray.
There is also another part of the LE that has all kinds of accessoires and juwelry, bracelets, necklaces, bangles, earrings, and I think even more.

My thoughts about it: The eyeshadow quads with gel eyeliner seemed to be quite pigmented (no testers); the lipsticks are black, gold and silver, but they are pretty sheer, so you could get a nice effect by layering them over another color; the nail polishes are pretty dark colors and all of them contain glitter, the magnet effect seems to work; I didn't even bother to buy the nail polish magnet to create the pattern because I heard multiple people saying that it's not strong enough, and it works just fine with a normal magnet, so this one isn't necessary; the jumbo eyeshadow pencils seemed to be pretty nice, definitely take a look at them; the gel eyeliner brush isn't that big and just looks like the one that came with the gel eyeliner in the Denim Wanted LE, just a bit bigger; the body glitter sray isn't necessary in my opinion either, I don't like stuff like that.
The juwelry didn't seem to be that cheaply produced or anything, if you like something, don't hesistate to get it, the things just weren't my kinda style.

What I bought:
The eyeshadow quad in 03 copper rulez
The nail polish in 01 iron goddess
The heart-peace necklace

Over all thoughts: This limited edition is pretty okay, not the best one ever, nor the worst one. Take a look at it, you might like something!

Also spotted: Essence 24h Hand Protection Winter Edition Limited Edition
This one is a Winter hand lotion LE, just as the one they had last year. Not my favorite kinds of scents, but okay. Some might like it.

I'll see you later! Bye, Misch

Clinique Anti Blemish Solutions Skincare Line Week 4

Hey Beauties,
this is my last post about the Clinique Anti Blemish Solutions Skincare Line. Not because I used it up, but because I stopped using it. It just didn't work for my skin and caused me even more breakouts. I already thought about stopping to use it, but I always told myself to keep trying, I thought it might take my skin a while to get used to it. And I know, it takes your skin 3 months to get used to a product, but I think after one month you should be able to tell wheter it'll work for you or not. It just broke out my skin and never removed those breakouts. I heard a lot of people saying that they love this skin care line and that it worked so well for them. Well....not for me, unfortunately. I would have loved to find this one working for my skin, but it doesn't. Every skin is different. I switched back to my old skincare system this weekend and it already helped my skin so much. This one is definitely the best stuff for my skin from the ones I tried so far. I might do a skincare routine for you sometime soon if you are interested in that. Leave a comment and tell me!
Now, the question at the end of every review: do I recommend it?
Well, personally, I can't really recommend it, just because it didn't work for me. But I heard so many people raving about this stuff, so yes, I do recommend it, since every skin is different. I can't promise it'll work for you, it didn't for me, but you can try it out. Though, I only recommend getting it when it's on sale as this little kit. Honestly, the skincare line isn't that great that I would pay that much money for the full sizes. So if you want to give it a try, get it when it comes in the little kit for 9 Euros.
I'm actually happy I didn't get another kit as I planned at first, and I'll give the rest that is still left over from my, more than half of it, to a friend. Maybe she'll be happy with it.

I hope you liked this review in a series! Let me know whether you want more of this kind of review, okay? Also, did it work for you? Or do you know anyone that likes this line?
Until next time! xoxo, Misch

NOTD October 25th: OPI - I'm Suzi & I'm a Chocoholic

Hey dear readers,
this is the nail polish I've been wearing the past couple of days: OPI - I'm Suzi & I'm a Chocoholic. Such a pretty color.
It's a brownish red brick creme, the perfect fall color. In some lights it looks chocolate brown, and then very red again. I think it's pretty unique, or does anyone know a dupe for it? I don't.
The quality is really good, just how it always is with OPI. Opaque with two coats, no tip wear until the 5th day of wearing it and just such a pretty color.
To me, this is the perfect fall color :) If you think about getting some OPI polishes any time soon, I really recommend getting this one. LOVE :)
Do you own this color as well? Or do you have another typical fall color?
I'd like to know!
xoxo, Misch
