Hey there!
Today I'd like to show you another fall nail art piece! I'm really in the mood for them right now, I like that :D
I did Fall Tree Nails, inspired by the colorful leaves everywhere :) I sponged on the leaves in different colors, and added the branches and stuff. Was really easy to do and looks cute :)
What do you think of it?

Spotted: Essence Hand Lotions Winter Edition 2012
Hey there!
Yesterday I found Essence's Hand Lotion Winter Edition LE for this holiday season at my drugstore, and I'd like to share my thoughts with you :) Here *click* are the promo pics.
The 3 scents this year are Gingerbread Chai Latte, Apple Cinnamon Punch and Caramel Hot Chocolate. I of course had to smell them all, I love Essence's winter hand lotions :)
I ended up getting Gingerbread Chai Latte, which really smells like gingerbread, spicy and warm and like Christmas :D The other one I bought is the Apple Cinnamon Punch which smells like apple and cinnamon and really sweet and warm. I just love smelling them :D
I only left the Caramel Hot Chocolate one at the store because it smelt rather unnatural, didn't like that.
I can't wait to try these, I hope they'll still smell good on my hands :D
Did you get any of these?
xoxo, Misch

NOTD October 12th: Owl Nail Art
Hey guys!
Today I'd like to show you a fall nail art mani, owls! I already did some last year here *click*, but this year I did them a little differently.
I used navy blue for most of the owls, but I created pink ones on my ring finger and thumb. I thought it would be fun, and since it's Breast Cancer Awareness Month, it's matching :D
These owls weren't hard to create, you just need a bit of patience :)
What do you think of them?

Fall Tag
Hi guys!
It's been forever since I've done a tag, but I figured this one would be nice :) It's about fall, so it's the perfect time to do it, don't you think?! Let's get right into it:
1. Favorite Fall lip product?
This year, I like to keep it natural on my lips during fall, or at least so far :D The color I've been using most is The Body Shop's lipstick in 42, a very sheer but caring my lips but better shade. Maybe I'll get around to wearing bolder shades in the next couple of weeks, though :D
2. Favorite Fall Nail Polish?
It's definitely OPI - I'm Suzi & I'm A Chocoholic. You guys know I love that shade, and there's none that could be better for fall. But I love other shades, too, of course :D
3. Favorite Starbucks Fall Drink?
I'm not really at Starbucks very often, I just barely get the chance to! So I don't really have a favorite drink for fall, since I haven't really tried any :P Gotta change that!
4. Favorite Fall Candle?
I don't have a favorite scented candle, I just always burn regular candles :)
5. Favorite Fall Scarf or accessory?
Definitely scarves as fall accessories, but also boots :) My favorite scarf is one by H&M, with a navy, coral, pink and creme pattern on it. And my favorite boots are my wine red ankle boots.
6. Haunted house, haunted hay ride, or haunted corn maze?
I've never done any of these! They're not really common here in Bavaria, but I'd love to do something like that some time :)
7. Favorite Halloween movie?
Mmhmm...Dunno if that counts, but I have to say Scary Movie :D It's hilarious, and my sisters and I always watch it around Halloween :D
8. Favorite candy to eat on Halloween?
Just most of the things with chocolate, that's all I want :D
9. What are you dressing up as for Halloween?!
This year, I'm gonna be Hermione again :D I've always been her when I was young, and this year it's definitely time to pull it out again :D
10. What is your Favorite thing about Fall?
A lot of things actually :D Kicking up leaves during walks, rainy days when you stay at home and read a good book, the trees changing colors, comfy sweaters, Halloween, the Oktoberfest, hot chocolate and all those things :)
I think fall might be my favorite season, I just love it. As you can tell from the last question, I'm a big fan of fall :D
I'd love all of my readers to the tag! Please everyone, do this on your blog or share your answers in the comments :) I'd love to read it all!

NOTD October 10th: Breast Cancer Awareness Pink Skittle Nail Art
Hey there!
Today I'd like to show you a skittle mani I created for this month :)
As you might know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and to support that and raise awareness, I decided to do a mani using the signature color, pink!
Normally I'm not the biggest fan of skittle manis, I love them on other people but not on myself. With this one, however, it's different: I really love it!
It incorporates stripes, polka dots and all these things :) I also painted on the little ribbon!
What do you think of this mani? And did you already sport a pink shade to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month?
xoxo, Misch

Book Review: Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks
Hey guys!
Today I'd like to review a book I just finished a couple of days ago, Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks.
Safe Haven talks about a young woman named Katie, who's just moved to a small town, and always stays to herself. She doesn't reveal anything about her past, but then she gets to know a guy named Alex...
It's like to super hard to sum up the story of this book without giving anything away, you'd better read the back of the book in the picture :D
Now, this is another one of these Nicholas Sparks love novels, the ones I love so much :D It's not soupy, but very emotional.
I gotta warn you, there might be some spoilers following, I just can't review it without mentioning some things :D
I love how it changes perspective every now and then, because that makes it all easier to follow. It also creates suspense a little, especially when Kevin is finding out where she lives. I found him very well-described anyway, and the way the parts out of his perspective were written, so you could fully understand his character. The way Nicholas Sparks built the sentences, from time to time even confusing, made it authentic because you were able to see how he thinks.
I also liked how you get to know about Katie's story at a part quite early in the book. That way you don't have too much guessing going on, and you understand it all way better.
To be honest, parts were really horrible not because of the book itself but its content...but they definitely made a good story, and I enjoyed reading it :)
The end is thrilling and full of suspense, and I found myself wanting to know how it goes on. If you're a fan of Nicholas Sparks novels, this is a good one to read :)
Has anyone of you guys read it?
xoxo, Misch

NOTD October 8th: OPI - Jade Is The New Black
Hi guys!
Today I'd like to show you the very first OPI nail polish I got, Jade Is The New Black from their Hong Kong Collection of Spring 2010. It was around that time when my love for OPI started :)
Jade Is The New Black is a slightly blue-toned green creme. It's super shiny and pretty, and for me the only shade of green I really like to wear.Today I'd like to show you the very first OPI nail polish I got, Jade Is The New Black from their Hong Kong Collection of Spring 2010. It was around that time when my love for OPI started :)
Application of this polish was great, I used 2 normal coats that went on nicely, the formula is on the squishy side.
I couldn't believe I've never shown you proper pictures of this one before! It's such a pretty polish, it's the one that started my love for OPI nail polishes!
What do you think of Jade Is The New Black?
xoxo, Misch
