NOTD June 2nd: Kiko - 245

Hey everyone,
today I'd like to show you the second nail polish I bought in Italy, 245 by Kiko!
245 is a warm deep purple shade. It has a very fine, multi-colored shimmer, that mainly looks red. Unfortunately, that barely shows on the nails. Especially with the dull weather right now!
Application was fine, it went on very smoothly and only needed 2 coats for full opacity.
I love how gorgeous this one looks in the bottle, and I wish that'd translate onto the nail! I'll try it again when the sun is out, maybe you can see it then :D
What do you think of it?

May 2013 Favorites

Hello everyone!
It's already the first of June today, so that means it's time for a favorites post! Here are my May '13 Favs!
Balea Body Butter Sunny Peach - I love the scent of this body butter, it smells so good! And it moisturizes really well, so I used this quite often this month :) Review
Belea Professional After Sun 2in1 Shampoo and Conditioner - this is a new product I tried during my vacation, a hair product to be used after being out in the sun. It's shampoo and conditioner in one, and has a sweet tropical scent. Review is planned!
Balea Professional Oil Repair Hair Oil - another hair product I used during my vacation. This one really saved my hair, because it gets dry so easily! Love this hair oil! Review
Catrice Geometrix LE Translucent Mattifying Powder - even though this powder doesn't last too long, I still enjoyed using it, as it's very natural and mattifies nicely! Don't mind having to touch it up during the day. Review
Essence Rebels LE Lip & Cheek Pot 01 Peach Punk - a blush from last year that I used again this month. Love the color! Review
Essence Sun Club LE Bronzer 01 De-light-fully Delicious - another old product, a couple of years old already! But the shade of this bronzer still fits me nicely, that's why I still use it!
Essence Wild Craft LE Duo Brush - the paddle side of this brush is what I use to apply my bronzer with. It has the perfect shape for that, love it! Review
Essie Glass Nail File - I got this little nail file with a special deal at a drugstore. It was a gift for every purchase of an Essie nail polish! And I like using this one a lot!

This concludes my favorites for the month of May! Please leave me some links to your favorites posts!

NOTD May 31st: Deborah Milano - Blue Lagoon

Hi guys,
today I'd like to show you a NOTD using my new Deborah Milano nail polish in the shade 55 Blue Lagoon.
Blue Lagoon is a navy blue creme. It has a teeny tiny touch of teal to it, but it doesn't get more exciting than that :D
Application was really great, with the first coat being a bit streaky and the second making it totally opaque. Went on smoothly.
To be honest, I have no idea where exactly you can get Deborah Milano, I guess it's an Italian brand sold quite widely throughout the country, corret me if I'm wrong! I got my bottle with the June issue of Elle Italy. They have a couple more colors to choose from, actually!
And yes, I'm back to nubbin nails, as always after a vacation :D
What do you think of this nail polish?

Haul from Italy!

Hey there!
After showing you some pictures of my vacation yesterday, I'd like to continue with talking about my shopping today! I didn't go too crazy, but there was one thing I'd been looking forward so much, and that was Sephora. Here in Germany we don't have it, so I've never been to one before, but I took the opportunity and went to the one in Riccione. Was a great store, pretty much empty so I could do my looking around taking lots of time.
I was gonna get myself a couple of small items, but I ended up buying something bigger and way more exciting: Urban Decay's Naked 2 Palette! I love it, it's absolutely gorgeous and I can't wait to try it! Swatches will follow in a separate post as it's a lot of colors.
At Sephora I also purchased a mini bottle of their Triple Action Cleansing Water, a make-up remover for your whole face.
Last but not least, one of Sephora's mini Eau de Toilettes. It's a mini spray of fragrance, and I got the Cotton Flower one. Love the sweet scent!
Then, I went to Kiko.
I bought one of their nail polishes, in the shade 245. It's a gorgeous deep purple shade with a fine, multi-colored shimmer in it, mainly looking red. It's beautiful, but unfortunately my camera wouldn't pick it up in the swatch, which is 2 coats.
Also, some of their lip liners were on sale, the Smart Lip Pencils. I decided to go bold and bought a bright orange red shade, called 705. It contains a tiny bit of a shimmer. Very pigmented.
Last but not least, another nail polish. I bought the travel size issue of Elle Italy, and it came with a nail polish from an Italian brand called Deborah Milano. The shade I got is 55 Blue Lagoon.  2 coats in the swatch, it's a slightly teal-toned navy blue.
I really like what I got, and can't wait to try it all out :)
What do you think of the stuff I got?

I'm Back!

Hey everyone!
I'm back from Italy! Yay! Feels good to be home, sleep in my own bed and have access to the Internet! :D I missed you guys!
I had a lovely time with my family! We stayed at the same place we did last year *click*, in Savignano near Rimini. This time, unfortunately, the weather wasn't as awesome. It's still quite early for a summer-beach-type vacation, and we wore long clothes most of the time. Was rather cold compared to last year! But we enjoyed ourselves nonetheless, and made lots of trips to the area. We went back to San Marino and Bellaria, and visited Riccione, Pennabilli and lots of tiny villages in between. And we did have some hot beach moments!
For today, I'd like to show you some pictures of my vacation. Here you go!
I hope you had a lovely week, too!
xoxo, Misch
