Hey there!
I was in the mood to do some nail art, and when I saw this gorgeous picture by Kayla Shevonne *click*, I knew I had to do my own version of it. This Double Animal Print is just awesome!
Since I was already wearing Mashed Berries from Essence's Fruity LE *click*, I decided to paint on top of that. The turquoise is Fly from OPI's Nicki Minaj Collection, and for the black I used p2 - eternal and Rival de Loop Young's Nail Art Pen. I wasn't even that hard to draw, you just had to be careful with the details.
If you like, I can do a tutorial about this one!
I'm planning to do more nail art in the near future, do you have any requests?
See you soon!

Swatches: Essence Rebels LE Lip & Cheek Pot
Hi guys!
Today I have some swatches to show you, because I now own the Lip & Cheek Pot from Essence's Rebels LE. Don't worry, you didn't miss my Spotted post, I didn't see this LE myself yet. My Mom, the best Mom ever, got this for me yesterday because she knew I wanted to have it. Tomorrow I'll go to the drugstore and have a look at the LE myself, but I already wanted to show you pictures of this one!
This Lip & Cheek Pot is a cream blush in a little pot that reminds me, and probably everyone else, of the Bobbi Brown Pot Rouges. I don't own a Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge, so I can't compare them, sorry about that!
Now, let's go on with Essence Lip & Cheek Pot. The color is called 01 Peach Punk, and the color is a vibrant and very bright peach-leaning orange. I know, it looks harsh, and when I first looked at it I thought it was way too bright. It's a creme, doesn't contain any shimmer particles whatsoever.
The consistency of it is creamy, but it's also a little gel-like in a good, still tight kinda way. It's hard to describe, but it definitely feels good.
When you swatch it, you can immediately tell that it's pigmented really well, but it doesn't look that harsh anymore. On my skin tone it turns a little more into a peach color, looking way more wearable. And when you blend it, it also looks better :) I'm a very pale girl, and I still think I can wear this, as long as I don't use too much product. I think I'm only gonna use this as a blush, even though it is also meant to be worn on your lips. Maybe I'll try that, too. Dunno ;)
I'm super excited to wear this one, it looks so good so far!
What do you think of it?
BTW, here *click* you can see promo pics of rest of the LE.

NOTD April 16th: Essence Fruity LE 05 Mashed Berries
Hi guys!
Today I'm wearing the polish I got from Essence's Fruity LE, called 05 Mashed Berries. That's at least what I think (I had a look at the promo stuff), because Essence didn't print any names onto the polish bottles.
Mashed Berries is a light cool-toned pink with round dark purple glitter in it. The glitter makes it look a little like seeds, which matches the fruit theme. It's a super fun, quite unique and also really refreshing polish, I've been starting to like colors like it more and more!
The consistency of this one is nice, it's a little on the thin side and super squishy. I would say it's a mix of a creme and a jelly, and you know I love that finish ;) It's super shiny and not that opaque at first, but with 2 coats it wasn't streaky anymore. I added one more coat so I didn't have as much of a strong visible nail line, even though you can still tell it the slightest bit. But only if you look for it ;)
Since I did 3 coats there are layers containing glitter that overlap, and that gives it a little the look of a jelly glitter sandwich. I love that, it makes it more interesting and fun :)
I really really like this polish, it's so pretty and definitely worth a buy!

Spotted: Essence Fruity LE
Hi guys!
My drugstore now finally got Essence's LE for April, called Fruity. Here's what I think of it:
This LE contains 3 eyeshadow sorbets, 2 lip balms, 1 blush sorbet, 5 nail polishes, 1 scented top coat, 1 set of nail fruits and 1 top coat. Here *click* you can see promo pics.
The eyeshadow sorbets have a weird gel-like consistency, not like cream eyeshadows. I'm not a big fan of neither the colors nor the consistency, so I left them at the store.
The lip balms are nice colors, but they are extremely sheer. That's okay, they're just balms. But I don't need something this sheer ;) Nothing for me here.
The blush sorbet is just like the eyeshadow sorbets and also like the cream blushes from the permanent line. I hate this consistency, and it wasn't that pigmented either.
The nail polishes are all light pastel colors, and they match the fruit theme. But there's a problem with them: Essence apparently forgot to put names on them! I'm serious, no polish has a name or at least a number or something. How could that happen? Anyway, the colors. Since I'm not the biggest pastel fan ever, I decided to get only one polish, which is (as far as I can guess from the promo stuff) called 05 Mashed Berries. It's a light pink with rather sparse purple glitter in it, which looks like the seeds of berries. I like that, it's a really cool idea and makes the polish way more interesting :) On the nail wheel I did 2 coats, I hope I'll get away with that on my nails, too :)
I have unfortunately no idea what the scented top coat is like, I didn't want to open and smell at the store, and I don't think it could be that awesome that I need it ;)
The nail fruits are technically a good idea for nail art lovers, but they're quite thick. I think they could be too thick to really stick to your nails, and then I rather paint my own fruits as nail art ;)
Last but not least, the Nail Art Sealing Top Coat. I don't know what's special about this one, but since I found the best top coat already anyway I decided not to waste any money on this one ;)
After all, this is not the best LE ever. When I saw the promo pics I already knew that these are not the most exciting products for me, and I was right about that. Doesn't matte, I don't have to love everything.

NOTD April 13th: Catrice Revoltaire LE - Mission Lilac
Hey guys!
The weather here has gotten slightly better (rain now instead of snow) so I decided to wear a colorful shade to brighten my day :D What would be better than Catrice's Mission Lilac from their Revoltaire LE?
Mission Lilac is not, like the name would suggest, a lilac, but a fuchsia. A cool-toned dark pink, just the slightest bit berry-like. Yes, I think you could call it fuchsia.
The formula of this one is a dream. Perfectly smooth and a tiny bit squishy, perfect to apply :) I had enough coverage with 2 coats, but I did 3 for the pictures. Just for fun ;)
I really really love this polish! It's so shiny and fun and looks like summer! I see myself wearing this on my toes all summer long :)
Since Mission Lilac is limited, you want to be quick to be able to get it. Even though it's not the most unique color you still get an awesome polish in terms of formula for just 2.50 Euros! Pretty good deal, right?!

Catrice Revoltaire LE Ombre Blush C01 Color Bomb - I GOT IT!!
Hi there,
yes, you got it right, I was able to get one of Catrice's Ombre Blushes from their Revoltaire LE! I'm so excited, you have no idea :D I was at seriously 5 drugstores before I finally found one, and it was even the last one there! The shop assistant told me she just had put up the display about an hour ago, and within that time all of these blushes sold out! That's unbelievable!
The blush is called C01 Color Bomb and it's an ombre blush, that means its color is a gradient. The gradient goes from a light coral to a darker pink. All in all, I'd say it's a coral pink blush :) It has a fine shimmer that isn't too strong, and pigmentation seems to be nice.
I'm gonna leave you with a few pictures and go ahead and use it :D I can't wait to apply it! Review will follow soon :)
Were you able to get this blush?

NOTD April 11th: Essence Soul Sista LE - 05 Mojito Green
Hi guys!
Yesterday I already shared my all-over thoughts of Essence's Soul Sista LE *click*, and now I want to show you the polish I got in detail.
It's called 05 Mojito Green, and it's a bright shade of turquoise with some mint hints to it. It also has a slight golden shimmer which is especially apparent in direct sunlight. Not that I have much of that here right now...:P
The consistency of Mojito Green is a little thicker, it's very creamy. Nothing you can't handle, it's just okay for application. Let's hope it doesn't get thicker over time, though...still, it was nice to apply, and needed only 2 coats for full opacity, which is also what I'm wearing in the pictures.
Unfortunately my camera doesn't like this color, it makes it a little too blue. Imagine it to be a tad greener in real life! And make sure you enlarge the pictures to see the shimmer :)
I really like this color, it's bright but still also not too much in-your-face. It does give me red hands, but I'm okay with that ;)It's definitely a polish worth a try if you like the color!
