Review: Essence Bondi Beach Collection - Gel Eyeliner in 02 BBC all night brown

Hi everyone!
I already did a post about the new Essence LE called Sun Club Bondi Beach Collection here *click* , and here is now the review for the gel eyeliner! I'm gonna keep this kinda short and just tell facts, pros and cons if you don't mind :)
Information:
- it's available in 3 different colors: black, brown and turquoise
- the one I have here is a dark chocolate brown with gold shimmer, called 02 BBC all night brown
- it contains 3 ml or 0.1 fl. oz. of product
- it costs 2,95 Euros at most drugstores
- it's limited
- it's supposed to be a "high precision eyeliner. waterproof"
Positives:
- good quality for an inexpensive price
- it's a pretty color
- it has the creamiest, most amazing (in my opinion) texture/ consistency
- you can easily apply it with a good brush (I used the Alverde Eyeliner one, *click* for a pic)
- it's super opaque with one coat
- it lasts all day long, even without a base
- it doesn't smudge or smear or sweat off, not even if doing sports
- it stays when it gets wet, you just musn't rub on it
here I'm wearing one thin coat if it, without a base
the pic was taken after 8hours of wearing, including doing sports
Negatives:
- it's limited -> get your hands on it while you can!
- it might be a little hard to remove, but with an oil-containing make-up remover it's fine
Well guys, I love this one! It's so pretty and the extremely good wear makes it perfect! I'm wearing it all the time, no matter what I'm doing, cause it stays with me during the day!
If you like a color, get it! It's worth buying!
The only thing I can't say is how fast it'll dry out...but for a price like this, it's fine if it dries out after a few months, because it's not expensive at all. I can't compare it to the regular Essence gel eyeliners because I have none of them, sorry!
Did anyone get this eyeliner or is planning on now? I'd like to know!
xoxo, Misch

NOTD May 9th: Paint Splatter Nails

Hi there!
I know I promised you to do nail swatches of the new Essence LE polishes soon, but before I get to that in the next couple of days, I have this nail art to show you: Paint Splatter Nails.
The way how to do it is once again from Cutepolish - I love her videos! *click* here to see the paint splatter nail video! :)
I used the Essence Stampy Polish in white as the background color, and then Sundancer by Essence from the Color&Go line for the yellow splatters, Hey Sailor! by China Glaze for the red paint, First Mate by China Glaze for the blue splatter and Jade Is The New Black by OPI for the green paint.
Unfortunately this didn't last very long, I already had some chipping after the first day...that's because of the Essence polish, since it's normally a polish for stamping and not for normal manicures ;) Whatever.
Do you like this design?
I'll see you soon!

Review: Nivea pure&natural body milk

Hi guys!
Nivea's launching a new line called pure&natural, and I got a little sample of the Body Milk from that line. It was only a little sample size that was given to a lot of people in the street, and since it was only so small, I only tried it once. I'm still gonna do a little review about it, because I can at least tell you about my impressions :)

Information:
- is made for dry skin
- the main ingredients are bio argan oil and bio jojoba oil
- 95% of the ingredients are from natural origin
- it's supposed to care your skin all day long
- it's dermatologically tested
Positives:
- it has a nice light perfume scent (you have to like it, though)
- the consistency isn't too thick --> you can use it in the morning, too
- depite the light consistency it's still rich
- it cares my skin nicely all day long
- it soaks in quickly
- it leaves no residue
- the low price (about 2 Euros I guess)
- it's available at almost any drugstore
Negatives:
- it might not be enough care for extremely dry skin, because I have normal skin and it wasn't too much for me
(- the scent in case you don't like it)
- the scent is gone after a few hours (could be a positive, too)
- you definitely have to reapply some lotion after 24 hours, after that time my skin got really dry...

Even though I only used it once, I like it! I might even get it, because it's a good one! Did you try it, too?
I'll see you soon!

xoxo, Misch

Spotted: Essence Sun Club Bondi Beach Collection

Hey everyone,
I'm sorry for those of you who might still be waiting for some older Essence LEs, because this could make you jealous: I found the next new Limited Edition by Essence at my drugstore ;) So if you don't want to hear about this yet, click the little X in the upper right corner :D
I got a few things, and I want to show them to you, in a little mini-review, or at least first impressions.
I got 2 nail polishes and 1 gel eyeliner, and here *click*, on the Essence homepage, you can have an overview of the products.
The polishes I got are a reddish pink one, called 01 BBC Pink Heat and a gorgeous bronze copper polish called 05 BBC golden sands.
The reddish pink looks like a jelly polish, feels like a jelly polish but applies like a creme. It's perfect! Two coats and it's perfectly opaque, it's almost a one coater! And it's so vibrant and shiny and makes me happy :D It's the perfect bright summer color.
The bronze copper nail polish has the most awesome shimmer, it's so so sparkly! I could even find little flakies in this polish, yay! It's a little sheerer, but I had nice coverage with 3 thin coats. Since it has that much shimmer in it, brush strokes can be visible if you're not careful. It's so shiny, glowy and hot for summer, I love it!

shimmer & flakie goodness!! <3
As you can probably tell, I'm totally smitten! I love these polishes, and since my internship is now over, I'll be wearing them soon! Expect some NOTDs! :)
And then I also got the brown gel eyeliner that's called 02 BBC all night brown. It has a slight golden shimmer and I like it! I won't say more now, I'll try it and test it, and then you'll get an extra review for it soon!

For all of the other stuff: I was tempted to buy the blue nail polishes, too, but I told myself I already own similar colors. The palettes were nice, but nothing I necessarily need, and the mascara seemed like one for the permanent line. I already own the brush in the version from the permanent line, and the bronzer was too dark for me, and I wouldn't use it anyway ;) The eye make-up remover seemed unnecessary to me, and I only chose one wearable color from the gel eyeliners. That's that :D
Over all, I like this LE! :D
Did anyone spot this collection already?? Are you as smitten as I am?
I'll see you soon!
xoxo, Misch

My Lipgloss Collection #2: Reds

Hi guys,
after showing already part #1 of my lipgloss collection, here is the second one, my reds :)

These are the ones I own:

Essence Beach Club LE Wet Look Lipgloss
This one is a really old lipgloss from a Limited Edition, but it's still fine to wear. It's a sticky red with multi-colored glitter particles. I like it :)

Essence Lipgloss ?!?
This one's pretty old, too, but it's okay. The color's a glossy red without any shimmer or anything. It's not fully opaque and has a slight pink undertone. I like to wear this when I want a red that's not too bright or obvious.

Essence Eclipse LE Lipgloss 01 Lunch At Cullen's

This gloss is from last summer's Eclipse Collection, a very opaque dark red with shimmer. This one's really obvious and not wearable for every day.

Rival De Loop Pure Lips 016
A gloss that is another pink-based red. It has a lot of silver shimmer particles, like a frost. The taste's a little weird, unfortunately.

Yves Rocher Les Plaisirs Nature Cherry Fruity Gloss
In this review *click* did I already mention it. It's more on the sheer side, very shiny and glossy, and tastes like soap.

So, that's about this part of my lipgloss collection. If you want a review for anything, go ahead and ask :)
I'll see you guys later!
xoxo, Misch

NOTD May 2nd: Butterfly Wings

Hi there!
This Nail Art thing is a really pretty one for spring. I got the idea for it here *click* at pimpmynailz.com, and directly how to do it from here *click*, from a video by Cutepolish.
I love the color-fading effect underneath the black pattern, it makes it even more interesting :)
For the color-fading I first appied a bright yellow color, it's Sundancer from the Essence Color&Go line. Then I sponged some orange onto the middle of it, using Life Preserver by China Glaze. Last I sponged some red onto the lower part of my nail, and for that I chose Hey Sailor! by China Glaze. The black lines were done just like in the video by Cutepolish which I linked above. For it I used the Nail Art Pen in black by RdLY. And for the white dots that complete the look I used the Essence Tip Painter.
It's not too hard to do with a lot of patience, but I love the result! It's really stunning in my opinion :)
I'm not wearing this design right now, because I'm giving my nails a break during my internship. But I just had to show you this gorgeousness :D
Do you like it?
xoxo, Misch

Benefit ErasePaste *click* - it's from the Finding Mr. Bright kit, and I liked it a lot for my dark circles this month :)
