NOTD October 15th: Catrice - After Eight

Hiya!
My lovely friend lately got me this polish, another new one from Catrice which is now available for about a month and a bit. It's called After Eight, and it's a dark shimmery blue-toned emerald green. I like the color a lot, it's so pretty! It reminds me a bit of Captain Sparrow's Boat *click* in a green version, but without the frost and the lighter shimmer. After Eight does have a gray hint to it.
After Eight applied nicely, but I still used 3 thin coats. If you paint just a tad thicker, 2 coats will be totally enough.
I like this polish a lot, so glad my friend got it for me, and it's also great because the green color works with something else: October is Depression Awareness Month, and the color for that is green. So I wanted to go along and also wear a green to raise awareness. Scrangie wrote a great post about Depression here *click*, might be interesting to you :)
Will you go along and wear a green, too?
Next is pink, btw, because October is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month!
Talk to you later!
xoxo, Misch

  1. My sister got this in Amsterdam and in the bottle looks great. We were slighlty dissapointed as you don't get the same colour on the nails.

  4. Like Salander said, this is a beautiful reason to wear it !
I am not used to wear green neither dark polishes but I have to admit this color is nice and classy. Catrice has made really great colors for its new fall range ! (and I am very excited about the Big city life LE too... still waiting for this to appear in my beautystore !)
